This video shows why the fandom sees him as a father, i get that he doesn't want to be put on a pedestal, i get that he thinks he isn't fit for the role, but that humility, that perspective not only of failure, but also of success and what he does with it all, it inspires people to want to be better and do the things they love, become the people they want to be

That story of how Philza got scared as a kid and became extremely cautious, like mapping out fire exits and everything actually makes so much sense with what he does now. It’s probably why loves hardcore so much and is so great at it. He’s constantly mapping out safety in his mind and is hyper aware.

Its kinda odd Phill only gained recognition when he failed. Or in this case, died and lost his 5 year run. Why didn’t anyone recognize him when he was building crazy buildings or anything?

the sad part is, everyone’s crediting the baby zombie when the spider was the actual thing that killed phil, you can see it on his death screen thing it quite literally said “ph1lza was slain by spider”

Phil is like the MOST HUMBLE, DOWN TO EARTH person on the internet. He worked his way up to the top and he deserves all the things that he is enjoying now.

Philza could blow up an oil rig irl to see how "busted" his new explosives are and I would still look up to him with starry eyes saying "dadza!"

Phil explain his household situation, and how his dad was was really eye opening. Honestly I’ve never related to someone so much, and it gives me hope one day I can provide for my mum and sibling, even with the added bonus of living with my disabilities.

Hello Phil. I know you from my 13yo daughter, we have these moments where she shows me what she watches and enjoys the most over the internet, and what struck me from the beginning was the good sense and humanity that always surfaced from your interactions. Despite your humility, swearing that much in this context is not that bad, just for you to know. Kids whose temperament is not like that, won't pick it up. It was heartwarming and also inspiring to hear your story and to see, even more, the human behind it, the lessons behind it, and the example behind it. You are already giving so much to the gamers community and not only, impacting and shaping others' lives, even subtle, but it is a good influence. So, thank you, and keep doing whatever you feel you want to do, just being a simple good human. I felt to add this comment in the desire to counterbalance at least one hateful comment :)). Also, many hugs to Anthony, whom I am watching since entertaining was way scarce over the internet, when watching Smosh was a cult thing between a few colleagues at work. :)) Hugs from Romania to all.
