Mario Superstar Baseball is still amazing

These random retro games go hard. Any recommendations for me to play next?

Legit a top baseball game for me. Like perfectly done arcade style baseball

This game has so much more depth than anyone realized back then. There are still communities playing it online and finding new strats and synergies to this day. So much fun, even 2 decades later.

This and the Wii version of Mario Baseball are legitimately one of the best sports games Nintendo have ever put out! i still play the Wii one once in a while!

Never thought i'd see Drewski play this game. Should play the Wii version as well, it's really fun

This was the second game I ever got with my GameCube. I played it all the time. The story mode was phenomenal. I would still be playing it to this day if the disc didn’t give out on me. I shed a single tear just thinking about it.

Hell yeah dude, there is an amazing competitive scene for this game. They got a unique discord client in their discord and everything.

There’s even an online scene and custom mods for it! It’s pretty sick!

It's amazing how many video games from the 2000s have stood the test of time.

This is my favorite baseball game of all time. It had a good amount of depth and progression, and plays in a well balanced manner.

I played the hell out of this game back in 2005 (and I still play it today as well). I got it as one of my birthday gifts along with WWE Day of Reckoning 2. It's legit one of my favorite Mario sports games and it takes me back to the days when Nintendo actually cared and put effort into their Mario sports titles. Would love to see this game get ported to the Switch, but sadly that doesn't seem very likely to happen.

The issue with hitting the low number of home runs was due to not timing up the power swing right before the ball got there. You were powering up too early. If you play the WII version it is the same thing

My favorite part of this game is when you beat career mode with each main captian, you unlock playing it as Bowser and it's essentially the opposite as the normal mode

This game goes hard but Mario Super Sluggers for the Wii goes even harder.
