Hope Cynthia knows we are still listening 30 years later and still getting us through hard times 🙏

As a white dude growing up in a hood with a bunch of Mexicans.... This was a blowout banger in the early 90s.....

My mother loved this song in her teenage days, and now l adore it as much as my mother loved it. 😃❤
  • As a Asian born in Hawaii we bumped this everyday. We would cruise and bust out our playlist which was cds back in the day. And when I came to Inglewood my twin sis and I clicked with the Latins thru Latin hip hop and amongst other music genre but we would play music on our boom box in our back yard and play double Dutch and pretend we were on soul train. We would dance to cynthia and stevie b. Amongst the few to name but jus brings memories. Wonderful songs of our youth and when my sis was still alive and well........I'll never get tired of freestyle base bomb.

As a young black dude in the hood I got ragged on for listening to Latin hip hop I would just walk away with Cynthia bumping on my Walkman 😌
  • 51 year old and still listening. Love me some 80 and early 90s best years!
  • This was the music my mom and dad would listen to all the time and it just reminds me of the good times 🥺 I miss my mom very much, but this music will always remind me of her 💜

No matter what anyone says, freestyle music will never die. This is my favorite song from her, and I love Dream Boy/Dream Girl with Johnny Ortiz. I don't know what the younger generation listens to right now, but this is the music that their parents listen to when they were in their teens. Gotta love it!! ❤❤❤

Can't ever forget skipping school and going to house parties. This jam and others like Lil Suzy, Stevie B, Noel, Johnny O, TKO, George Lamond and others were always playing at the house parties!!
