Top 10 RAREST Shiny Pokémon in Scarlet & Violet

I found a white Tatsugiri in the wild randomly and thought it was just one of the color variants, but when I ran into it I freaked out when it sparkled and caught it lol

Feels weird having to upskirt a teacup but if it works, it works.

I spent a couple sandwiches hunting roaring moon, and found zweilous, gible and sneasel before roaring moon finally appeared. What was really great about this is that It was on my birthday, and this shiny roaring moon had the birthday mark. Definitely the rarest pokemon I own in scarlet.

I caught my very first shiny Dunsparce ever in an outbreak on christmas eve and it evolved into a 3 segment Dudunsparce. I was so happy.

I just wanted to point this out for anyone who didn’t notice, but Alfornada is a town known for its pottery lifestyle with kilns and buildings made out of tile everywhere, so where would authentic Sinistea spawn if they’re actually made from pottery? Small details like this are why I love these games with all my heart!

Shiny Dratini is pretty hard to find in Violet. It’s the same problem Roaring Moon has where if you use a sandwich for dragon Pokémon, Dreepy and Drakloak will spawn with the Dratini in a pool that only Dratini spawn in, in Scarlet.

The funniest part about the authentic sinistea hunt is you HAVE to get a wild one, the authentic stamp doesn't pass down through breeding

If you want to shiny hunt a Zoroark, you can use a Dark Sparkling and Encounter sandwich then go to the Groundblight shrine. It will only spawn as Isolated Mabostiffs and Honchkrows. Regular Honcchkrow and Mabostiff spawn in packs so its easy to tell. Zoroark will also spawn more than every other pokemon. Then from there you just auto battle everything until you find one you can't auto battle. Did this and got my shiny Zoroark in one Sandwich after 28mins or so.

Update as of The Teal Mask: Roaring Moon can spawn with Dragon Sandwiches in the same place as Iron Valliant Outbreaks have been updated to support other forms. This includes Tatsugiri, Tauros, and Authentic Sinistea. I got really lucky today. I saw a Varoom zooming around like they do. I thought might as well catch it as I haven’t yet. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be shiny.

Word of warning for Dunsparce hunters in area zero: it has double edge

I spent about 6 hours shiny hunting for Roaring Moon and I managed to get it. Such a great shiny.

I got both shiny female salandit and shiny female combee in the same 2 hour session 😆 Combee was full odds with shiny charm. Salandit was with the remaining 2 minutes on a fire sandwich after collecting an Iron Moth. Must have been my luckiest run ever!

Somehow, I managed to randomly stumble upon a white Tatsugiri. What’s funny is that moments before, I quite literally was telling my friend that if I were to ever encounter a shiny Tatsugiri in the wild, I probably wouldn’t even notice it because their shiny forms look so similar, lololol. Imagine my surprise when I had to stop and turn back around when I saw that bright white little dude just chilling there. Even I couldn’t miss him! :D

After watching this video, later today I found a Tatsugiri that looked different and I remembered the shiny forms from this video. I screamed so loud when I caught my first shiny in Violet. I love my shiny droopy Tatsugiri. The full white is so cute

I remember I wanted to mark hunt Tatsugiri, but they kept using Memento. So I went to get a Sinistea to evolve it into Polteageist because it learns imprison and memento. So I caught one, went to the Socarrat Trail to get the Cracked Pot, went to evolve it and... it didn't work. The one Sinistea, the very first one I caught, was authentic.

When I tried shiny hunting a Zoroark with just my Level 2 Dark-type Encounter Power Sandwich and no Shiny Charm, I was excited to actually find one but I didn't realize just how rare it actually was. The fact that I found it in one sandwich makes it even better.

I didn't see any tera raids that interested me one day and went random, which was Cetoddle. I thought the lighting in the carvern was making it look weird, turns out it was a full odds tera shiny. Also Cetitan's Shiny is imo one of the best of the new pokemon!
