The Old Neighborhood Restaurant was up for sale when this episode was filmed in July 2013. After the episode aired, the owners increased the asking price to $775,000. The owners eventually sold the restaurant and closed their doors on 1 May 2016. Wow, so they got their restaurant completely renovated with brand new equipment worth thousands of dollars, which they didn’t pay for, & then sold the place. I guess that’s better than the alternative which would’ve been them continuing to cross contaminate & let it get filthy again.

Let's appreciate their son for a moment... He isn't in denial, he is the one who tells customers that the kitchen is closed, even if that should come from his parents and after that he comforts and supports his father... Good guy.
