The period videos are back! I tried "The Diva Cup", a reusable menstrual cup, for my period this month, and it was an ~exciting time~. Would you try a menstrual cup?

I got my menstrual cup from Target, but you can find them in many places!

hello loves! how was your weekend? would you use the diva cup, or another menstrual cup? also, where is my NOTIF SQUAD at?! 🖤🖤🖤
  • "I don't really like the DRAMA of putting it in and taking it out" Well, it is a DIVA cup.

When you’re on your period and you get out of the shower and it’s a race between you, time, and gravity 🤣

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Tyler. Not at all awkward with period stuff. 👏 👏👏👏👏👏

Most celebs: You know about me but you don't know me Saf: So as you guys know my period is 7 days long

As a guy who has a lot of female friends this is really cool to know what they go through, and learn. I have always known a period is painful, but I never really thought about how inconvenient bleeding endlessly is. And as a dude I apologize for all those immature boys who think a period is gross.

Am I the only person who kinda misses these period themed videos?? I really enjoy how informative and relaxed these feel.

Why do I know more about saf’s period than mine

wow okay didn’t expect this to be so long: came back to this video after buying a diva cup for the first time. i’ve always been an avid tampon user, i can’t stand pads - they just seem so gross to me, so naturally i was pretty excited about this. one thing that really made me happy was the fact it can be left in for up to twelve hours. i was always so bad at taking tampons out on time (never left them in for more than eight hours though, don’t worry haha). the first time i tried the diva cup was a DISASTER. i didn’t know how to insert it properly, and after 40 minutes, when it eventually got in, i didnt push it far enough and when i walked i could feel it rotate. i was in so much pain and was ready to never touch a diva cup again. taking it out was arguably worse than putting it in. i was in so. much. pain. i eventually got it out after far, far too long, emptied & rinsed it, then turned to youtube for a better method. i came across one method that said to fold one side into the cup so it makes some sort of triangular shape, then insert - and that has been the best method ever!!! so easy! then, run your finger around the outside to make sure it’s all open and suctioned. to take it out, as funny as it sounds, you should start by pushing with your muscles like you’re gonna poop. you’ll start to feel the cup make its way out. once it’s out enough that you can feel all of the ring-things on the base of the cup, hold it in place as best you can while you run a finger up to break the seal. once you’ve broken the seal, keep your finger there, continue to push it out while guiding it with your finger. that has been the most painless and clean method for me, i hope it helps. sorry to be so... in depth ahah.
  • So jealous of those girls who have like 3 to 4 day long periods
  • I swear that every period is at its heaviest on the 2nd day. Does anybody have a different day that’s heavier??!

actual diva cup user rewatching- don't just yank it out by the stem! you need to press it in a little to break the suction- makes it much easier to pull out without the damn thing trying to french your cervix (and schlurping itself back in if you loose the grip). the little stem guy doesn't really serve a purpose, it's just a comfort thing to be able to feel it. personally i trimmed my stem down a lot bc it gets pokey lol

I'm just so impressed she got it so fast on her first try
  • @Lena-zn4re
Saf: "Can you see it?" Tyler: "Hello diva cup, are you in there?" lol relationship goals right there.😂😂😂
  • I think its really sweet that Saf can openly talk to Tyler about her period. Most boys would be grossed out, but Tyler talks about it like its normal.

I'm 73 and when I was young, a cup amazingly similar to the diva cup was sold. My flow was insane--changing pads every 2 hours and flow for 10 days. It did have a correlation to a physical problem but I didn't find that out for a year after the "Tass-Away" went out of business. I loved it! For the first time I could leave it in for as much as 6 hours without leakage on my heaviest days. Mine created a seal that prevented any leakage. I never had a problem with it. I can't figure out why it went away for 50 years. I'm glad to see it back.
