The first time I heard this song I was in the parking lot of my dr.'s office waiting to hear those word,"you have cancer". This song became my story for the next six months as my body was broken down with cancer, but built back up my the HOLY SPIRIT. I gave my healing body and spirit over to the glory of GOD. I have a relationship with HIM that I'd longed for for 40 years. I only had to ask and received his blessings and I used it all for HIS GLORY. God is good all the time.

This song brought me to my knees in the county jail, i gave my life back to Jesus... But wait... I wasn't done living in my FREE WILL for a little while longer... Then it happened.... Jesus left the 99 and found me... I've walked with the Lord Everyday since may 18th 2015.... I'll NEVER forget it.... Thanks be to THE LORD THAT SAVES!!!! JESUS JESUS JESUS...

nnamdi nnorom Thanks for your comment.  It seems like you have a misunderstanding of the lyrics.  If anything we're asking God to "ruin" our distorted perceptions of who we think he is based on what society tells us.  Some believe that life will be an easy road when we turn to Christ but it is NOT easy.  Make me broken, make me empty, make me lonely are simply prayers to God to remove all that we "think" is important and replace it with HIM.  Think of Jonah in a the belly of the whale or Job...they did not have the easiest of times on Earth but God brought them out of their experiences in to a new understanding of who He is.  Another thought on your comments because it is important to note.  When we write songs we write them from the human perspective/experience.  We are writing 100 percent from an open/vulnerable place in our lives.  We believe that God is honored when we are real and honest and that is why we love creativity and art because it is a way for us to express of emotions (good, bad, ugly).  Thank goodness for this!  We love you as a brother and appreciate your comment but disagree with your statements.  Blessings!

Even in the darkness He brings a Light.

For the past few years I have been broken and this past week I was broken to my very core.  I felt empty with nothing to grasp and felt alone and forsaken.  I heard this song last week, on the Christian Radio where I live and some of the words stayed in my mind; Broken, Empty and Lonely.  Then on Friday I spent the day with a very dear friend of 36 years and we talked and I shared with her what I have been through.  I kept telling her "I'm so broken and I don't understand why I'm going through this and when will I be delivered."  She told me, yes you are broken, and God has a purpose for you.  On the way back home the song came was played two times and I listened to it.  When I arrived home I looked it up with the lyrics.  God's way is so perfect.  This song depicts me.  I'm have been broken to my very core, so that I can be completely healed.  I am empty so that He can fill me with His power and Spirit.  I have been lonely so that I realize that HE is my ONLY true love.  I fell to my knees and cried to God, thanking Him for my brokenness and for ALWAYS being there for me, even though at times I felt forsaken.  Thank you Sidewalk Prophets for letting God inspire you with this song.  God Bless you.

This song makes a perfect prayer.  At the end of the day when I am tired, frustrated, heartbroken, and just plain messed up, all I can pray is for God to keep making me.  Keep on writing prayer songs like this.

I was at my lowest back in March of this year.  I remember telling my sister and close friends, I'm so broken, and I'm so lonely.  Little did I know about this song, when on the Z radio the song would come on as I was driving.  One particular day, on my 45 minute drive back home, the Z played the song 3 times!  As I drove I listened closely to the lyrics and I heard the words, broken, empty and lonely.  I went home and Googled the song and read the lyrics, then I played it on here and it was so profound the message God had for me.  I believe this song was written for me.  God knew what I needed.  I continue to trust in God and ask him, "Keep Making Me"  May this song be a blessing to everyone that hears it and may God "Keep Making" them too!  God bless!

I dedicated this song to my personal Lord & saviour Jesus Christ for saving my life again in this world,during car accident he gives me strength when i am weak and when i call him he answered me,that time i surrendered my life to him and all i have to do is to call him in times of danger.,,even if im hurt too much i am very thankful to him for having my second life.,im suffering now my bilateral bone fracture but praised God im ok now & i can walk properly and still haved a chance to praised him again in his presence… i love you Lord Jesus Christ., Tnx for my second life…
