I’m a hetero male and Pet Shop Boys have been my mainstay and ‘guilty pleasure’ for almost 40 years. Their music is beautiful and lyrics clever and insightful. This track won my heart the first time I played it and I actually cried with joy the moment the chorus arrived. The absolute highlight of this joyous and welcome collection of new music.

If i was in charge of the PSB-Product Management or Publicity Agent...i had chosen this as he first and main track of the album: This is such a pure, real, authentic and loveable PSB sound, that "us fans" (if i may speak for others...) won our hearts 40 years ago...and has proven itself ever since over all those dacades, to be the sound, that touches us

Oh my God. Goosebumps from the first few seconds!!!! This is why we love the Pet Shop Boys with all our heart, 40 years now!

Feel is not only my favourite on Nonetheless, it also takes me back to the great Nightlife era!

"Feel" is my favorite track off 'Nonetheless'. It's gorgeous and gives me such a euphoric sensation. I also adore "New London Boy" and "Loneliness". And the whole album is beautifully crafted and cohesive. You can hear influences from a myriad of previous periods, but somehow all of it has a very modern, chill, melodic and airy vibe that allows the tracks to gel so well. I also noted a lot of 60s and 70s imagery in the lyrics, which links the songs thematically as well. The lack of cohesion on 'Hotspot' soured me slightly, even though I liked a lot of the tracks, but 'Nonetheless' flows so well.

This song. Honestly, it‘s perfection. I‘m utterly in love with it. ❤

Woo hoo! Now this is PET SHOP BOYS! It's new and it's simultaneously full of nostalgia, it's deep, and it fuckin' kicks in the groove. An instant classic.

  • Introduced to PSB many years ago by my Son. Still enjoying at 77 years young. Great song.👌

This absolutely has to be released as a single. It’s the best track by far on the album and every single person I speak to is in love with the sound and production of this song in particular. It is epic and has such a warm comfortable reflective feel to it that makes it hard not to love. Ripe for remixes especially an instrumental. Neil’s voice is sublime

An album full of hits! High standard!!!! People who dont like this album can't be Petheads.....maybe they like Super or Electric....but thats not really pets.....its great that they show they can do that too....but Pets means songwriting like Behavior and Nonetheless or the beautiful songs from the musical Closer to heaven !!!!! 😊❤🎉
  • I recall that way back in 1990, when the Boys released Behaviour, I experienced a certain feeling of dread when listening to it. That album had the ethos of a Testament, a summing up, a 'goodbye', so deep and profound were the melodies and sentiments it carried. I feared that Neil and Chris had 'peaked' and were preparing themselves to walk away from 'the bizz' for good. My relief when they brought out Very was palpable. Since that time, I haven't 'feared the worst' again until right now, with the release of this astonishing work of art. I would like to believe that 'Age shall not wither them', and that Nonetheless will not be their last hurrah. But if this IS to be their swansong, then I must simply raise a toast and say, "Fellas, your music will live as long as there are humans still around to hear it." ❤

Yes, the PSB DNA is pretty much intact and recognizable. However, the use of electronica is more sophisticated and elevated. The presence of strings - an elegant pleasure. Indeed, the Boys have never stopped growing.

PSB with a hint of Bronski Beat/Communards/Jimmy Sommerville. Absolutely fabulous!
  • @Pacalo
What a masterpiece! They´re always the best..but this one is from another level!! I already heard it 100 times in just one day... The drums line on the reprise reminds me of Karftwerk's "Tour De France", and I love that!
  • @andyfleming747
I absolutely adore this track, but for some reason it makes me feel very sad? That intro dreamy rift is truly amazing, and very haunting; plus Neil's voice is superb as usual.
  • This beauty brings tears to me. Of joy. Hints of Kraftwerk and Goldfrapp top it off. Masterpiece to me. Thank you PSB ❤
  • This one has a very subtle hint of getting away with it in the intro section... BRILLIANT TRACK!!
