Since the release, I have seen a total of 8 Galarian Birds (45 uses). - 7 Articuno (caught 1) - 1 Zapdos - 0 Moltres That's about 18% encounter rate currently (about once a week).

My biggest fail was I finally got a reclaim for a shiny squirtle and I wanted a sparkle picture but I had ar plus on and I was in a car with low internet, so it glitched and I wasn’t able to turn it back into the normal catch screen and I didn’t even get a chance to catch it (which I still haven’t reclaimed to this day and this was in the tcg event btw)

The losing a shiny to the Go Plus definitely hurts. My first and only shiny sacrificed to the Go Plus (so far) was my first ever shiny Miltank during the Johto Tour. Still looking for redemption.

My very first bird was the Articuno - I caught it after throwing 3 ball at it. I was floored!! My second one, last week, was the Moltres. It ran on the 2nd ball.

I caught a moltress yesterday me and my friend ran screaming around an elderly home after I caught it 😂

1:10 Tip at the end! I lost a shiny Scarf Pikachu at GO Fest Finale because I wanted to see the sparkles. Never got another shiny that day and Niantic doesn't want to fix it. Tip: Toggle AR mode On and Off to see the sparkles next time.

I just Shiny Failed today. I used a Gold Razz Berry, and threw an Ultra Ball, and the Shiny Event Crogunk fled. That was very unfortunate, because I never Shiny Fail that easy before.
