The original song was made way back before the rest of the games were ever thought of, and the lore was not fleshed out quite as much, but given what HAS come out the line "We remember a face like yours" makes a terrifying amount of sense. Michael Afton canonically resembles his dad, William, such that at least one set of animatronics (Sister Location) thought he WAS his dad. I wonder if Scott did that with this song in mind?

I've been a fan of FNAF ever since late august of 2014. I just want to say happy anniversary to FNAF, and I'm really excited for the future of this franchise. The old years were amazing, and I hope these next 8 years will also be amazing.

The “La La La La La La La La La La” is EVERYTHING for me. It sounds so good and really puts the whole song together in my opinion. It’s so simple but effective.

10 years ago, Five Nights at Freddy's was created by Scott Cawthon. Instantaneously, the game changed the landscape of indie horror, and ever since August 8th, 2014, FNaF has grown to contain over 10 games, dozens of books, 1 movie (with two more on the way), countless fan games, a couple of collab deals, and grew the carrers of many prominent YouTubers. As of today, the FNaF franchise has grown to heights that its own creator could have never imagined in just 10 years, and with what Scott and his partners have planned right now, FNaF is unlikely to fade anytime soon. Happy 10th Birthday, FNaF. You gave us many heart-stopping scares, a confusing (but great) story, and many good memories when we were growing up. Here's to another 10 years of Freddy and his friends.
