Cute Korean Cafe Owned By A BANK

We went to a cute Korean café in Myeongdong called Café Swith Swol. It was probably one of the best decorated cafés I've ever been too. They had these cartoon characters throughout the place, but I had no idea where they came from. Well, from doing a bit of research on this video I found out they're call Shinhan Friends, which are the official Mascot for Shinhan Bank. Shinhan bank is one of 6 nationwide banks in Korea, and I found out all the banks in Korea have their own cartoon characters. It's a really odd phenomenon. I've never heard of a single bank in America that has their own Saturday morning cartoon characters, let alone a bank that runs a restaurant. Come to Korea, you'll find things that's done completely different.
