Out of all the carrier documentaries I've seen, this one stands out as the best. The cinematography is simply outstanding, and the story is incredibly compelling.
  • That thumbnail speaks volumes as to the legitimacy of this video. A super carrier with the island in the middle of the flight deck. Priceless.

Amazing video, well done to all involved. I did 4 RIMPAC when I was in the Australian Navy. My 1st was in 77 on HMAS Melbourne CV 21, the other 3 on Destroyers DE's. This video brought back many memories and it also shocked me at how far technology has advanced. To all.... Fair winds and safe seas. ❤⚓

Amazing video... brought me back to 1991 when I had the privilege to spend 4 days on the USS Forrestal in the Mediterranean is a civilian aviation photographer. An experience I will never forget and neither the amount of admiration I gained for these men and later women spending months at sea defending our freedoms. I will always admire them and the people who designed and built these marvels of engineering...

When that battleship rolls over and sinks, I couldn't help but think of the thousands of crew that died right then. It's terrifying,
  • Beautiful production 👏🏽 While I know much of this information, the production value alone had me locked it. Great video! Thanks!!!

Some of these guys are right, I’d Locke to see more below deck stuff! The reactor making fresh water and just all the other things that are done and maintained to keep the ship moving!!!

What a well made video, some of those historical sinkings were hard to watch, those exploded view graphics were top shelf though, well done.

FYI this film is years old. This channel somehow got their hands on it and posted it.
