Ohio produced the most US astronauts than any other state. That’s how bad Ohio is. They went to space to escape it.

"Just say no, what's so hard about that?" GOAT
  • @Satherian
"Just say no! What's so hard about that?" He's been holding on to that one for years
  • @TeaDrinker3000
I know it's a comedy routine but my heart sank when he said "just say no", knowing that that was in many cases the literal message given to addicts during the 80s drug crisis

“Just say no, what’s hard about that” Brutal 🤣

One of the most important people in comedy history. The way he seamlessly weaves his jokes with the harsh truths and real problems the world faces, is masterful.
  • Comedy is so brutally honest and truthful sometimes ; laughing helps us swallow the bitter pill of reality .

Everytime he screams it takes me back to 04'

"They are not criminals. They are sick." This is why Dave Chappelle is awesome.

“Just say no, what’s so hard about that??” This man is a f*cking legend.
  • @GroudFrank
That "just say no" bit is, for me, one of the greatest bars in comedy history. The man is a comedic genius.

Dave feels like the cool history teacher that tells tons of effed up jokes but at the end of the day you know you're gonna get a really deep life lesson.

“Heroin addicted whites” Always gets me 😂

This is a clinic on how to tell jokes. The subject matter. The construction of the joke. The timing. How he uses the energy of the audience. The build up of the side punchlines to get to the final message
  • Crack use was an epidemic. Opioid use is a crisis. The power of words. I'm glad somebody said it.

"When it started happening to YOUR kids you realize it's a health crisis!"...BOOM!!
  • @Odd_Combo
I’m a poor, white, 15+ opiate addict, and I can’t even fathom pretending to be mad about this... Humor is the cure! If you can look back on your life and laugh on your deathbed, nobody can beat you, IMHO! Love Dave Chapelle so much. He’s never afraid to start the necessary dialogues and that in itself earns a huge amount of love and respect.

Dave gets it right every single time. Even when you think the joke is over he comes back with the real punchline. 😂
