Ann's voice reminds me of a crystal but with a steel rod driven through it, superbly clear but steely strong, unbeatable

And it is all HER...no auto tune. WHat you are watching is pure talent that is missing with much of the entertainment today. This is a live performance and she never failed to give a fantastic performance.

Ann is a legit card carrying Bad Ass. She has been amazing for 50 yrs plus. They STILL slay it live. Not to give them their props is criminal, These ladies have been in that catagorie of the very best for decades in a male dominated genre.

You better believe she is the top for female vocalists... It's why she was the perfect choice to sing Stairway to Heaven at The Kennedy Centre Honours for Led Zeppelin. Anne singing Roberts song back to him just as well as he could do it... you could tell it really touched him. As for this song.... I can still remember walking into a record shop in Glasgow one Saturday in 1977 wondering what I should buy..... this was on the shop speakers and so I walked straight up to the counter and bought the album... I didn't care what else was on it...!!!

Ann Wilson is #1 female rock singer period and in the top 5 ever in rock. Range for days. Ann and Nancy are gems.

Ann is a powerhouse. I can't think of any frontwoman better. Her vocal range is insane and still is at 72. You should listen to some of her more recent performances, she still hits those notes, it's insane.. Nancy on the guitar speaks for itself. She's a badass. Such underrated artists and band.

Yep, Ann Wilson IS the greatest female rock vocalist to ever live, and everybody else is a very distant second, at least in terms of skill and talent, if not influence. Nancy Wilson is easily the most influential female guitarist of her generation and is also a great singer and multi-instrumentalist. These ladies are legendary and yet they're still underrated. They've sold millions of albums and are the most successful female fronted band of all time and yet they still haven't got the true recognition they deserve. THAT's how good they are

One of the greatest voices in rock history

I was 14 living in Burien Washington, just south of Seattle. Heart used to practice in an abandoned 7-11 store near Three Tree Point where I caught the bus for school. We would sit outside listening to them practice after school. You would see them in their matching Porches (Ann’s black, Nancy’s white) around town. Then a couple years later my little sister dated their managers son. Im 62 now, I’ll never forget those years.

Ann Wilson IS the best female singer of all time. You're not wrong about that.

I love seeing the younger gen react to the music of my generation. So cool to see these songs hit the same way for them as it did for us.

Heart is a sister group, and they are one of the best groups in the world. Ann's voice, and Nancy's playing, are the core of my teen years. Nothing beats a Heart song.

This is a great rock band that started in the 70's. Ann Wilson has one of the most powerful female voices. And her sister Nancy can play a mean guitar. They have had so many great hits such as "Crazy on You", "Magic Man", "Barracuda", "What About Love", "Never", "Dog & Butterfly", "These Dreams" & "Alone". In 2012 Ann & Nancy performed at the Kennedy Center Honors in a tribute to Led Zeppelin doing their classic song "Stairway To Heaven".

Female vocalists from the 70's are Linda Ronstadt, Grace Slick, Blondie (Debra Harry), Pat Benatar, Stevie Nicks, just to name a few.

And she can still sing like this to this day. She is just unreal. This women is looked upon by the younger singers today as the one they aspire to be.

This is a video for the Studio Version, not live. And yes... Ann Wilson is definitely the best female vocalist of her era and yes... this ranks very high as a classic rock song! It is just as loved now as it was when I was a kid in the 70's! They have so many great songs.
