Ricky said on an interview that he failed as an 80's pop star. Little did he know that this song was considered as an anthem during the 80's here in the Philippines. Too young to have lived it but got to know this song from my parents. They always played this when I was a kid and got to hear it a few times from the radio. Good times :)

He's basically a chilled out entertainer.
-
I heard Steve Carell is doing a cover of this...
-
They're clapping on 1 & 3.... That hurts.
-
Damn his voice is actually awsome. Reminds me of Bowie.
-
No one here knew that this singer would grow up to roast celebrities on national television at the Golden Globes. Iconic.
-
Saying that this is a great song is an understatement….this record was extremely hard to get when I was in highschool in the 80’s in the Philippines….it still is!
-
That haircut is amazing
-
A few times per year I just randomly remember that Ricky was an absolute babe in the 80's
-
He’s…..so beautiful!!! God the 80s were great.
-
My favorite new wave song back then in the Philippines and I'm just finding out that Ricky Gervais is the lead vocal!! Wtf!! Mind Blown...
-
What?? I’ve been hearing this a lot in my childhood and was a massive hit in the Philippines. I didn’t know Ricky Gervais was the lead singer. He is a man of many talents. Great singer, comedian, and actor too. Afterlife is a must watch. Haven’t both laughed and cried for ages on a show.

This is brilliant. Ricky looks amazing

The presenter of Razzamatazz was Lisa Stanfield who later had a global hit with In Around The World .
-
I was there. My sister is the girl on the left on the first shot at the piano. Never knew Ricky was in the band till a few years ago.
-
Who wouldve thought ricky was a teen hearthrob in the 80s lol..
-
Omg he is so handsome and still is 👍
-
Got here because I watched After Life on Netflix and then read up more about Ricky Gervais and then found out he had a few songs in the 80s. Listened to it and now it's on our countdown this week

I bloody love this song. I'm gutted they didn't release more music. I would have loved to have a Seona dancing CD!

Honestly Ricky is an absolute inspiration. True artist
