A lot of girls do this with their hair under wigs all the time. I just watched a girl on here documenting how she just took out 6month old cornrows under her wig, it’s a huge community of us. & yes we can go months without our hair being washed and only moisturized bcuz that’s just how our hair can hold up! 💯

Washing your hair with conditioner or shampoo also helps in making it look fresh even when in cornrows

When people don’t know what they are talking about. This is how people hair gets long when you leave it Tf alone. It’s regular braids that grown over the time

Idk about 5 months. 3 months seems to be the limit for my head any longer and the more breakage I have when I take them out. That’s just me though
