  • So awesome you take the time to show us SV owners how to work on our bikes. Thank you.

Thanks for the video. The dealer wanted lots of $ to do this and I wasn't 100% certain they'd do a good job. So I watched your video and did it myself. Even though my bike is a 2020 so the brake fluid wasn't all that old, it's a very noticeable improvement. Less lever travel and I feel more in control over the bike.

Really great stuff. Really well explained and covers all bases. Thanks đź‘Ť
  • Great video! Can you, on your next video, bring in the camera a little closer on the areas you’re working on. Thanks again for sharing these awesome videos.

Hey man, this has nothing to do with brakes, but how do you decide how far to have the forks sticking out of the yoke? Is there are a service manual 'spec' for it? Does it affect the ride at all? EDIT: OK, I shoulda done some googling first, still curious about your take on it though :)
  • Do you have any troubleshooting tips on the caliper slide pins? I am dealing with decent pressuse but excessive initial travel. I had the seals replaced and the pistons polished (cleaned, really. Nothing crazy), new pads installed, system bled (including the zip-tie over night trick to bring the bubbles up the line). Yet, it looks like there is flex in the caliper before the pressure is being built. I would appreciate any input.

I think it's a JIS screw for the reservoir, not a Phillips.
