/EDIT 2020:
To answer some repeated questions:
- I am happy and still surprised about 20 million views. :-)
- 37.04 sec was the world record in 2011, broken again by Jamaica in 2012, 36.84 sec.
- 37.04 / 4 = 9.26 for each runner. Yes, that's the logic in a relay. Don't compare it to a regular 100 metres race.
- Don't trust any world record in athletics, especially this one, too many athletes here were never appropriately tested, appeared supicious or were caught.
- No clean team will ever be able to reach these times again.

/EDIT 2021:
Sad news... The German commentator Wolf-Dieter Poschmann passed away at the age of 70.

Yohan Blake and Usian Bolt at their bests. Legends, utter legends, both of them.
  • @adityakale7097
The way Yohan Blake takes lead while Bolt increases it further... Top performance

I’ll tell you what I find most interesting about this race. Look at how Usain crosses the line. In any other race with a giant gap like that he would’ve cruised the last ten meters. But in this race, he was aware that he was racing for a team and what holding a WR would mean for his teammates so he didn’t let up one bit. Respect!

Yohan Blake is probably the best 3rd leg runner ever. He killed it in the London Olympics as well.
  • English, French, German, it doesn't matter what language the text is in, Bolt will make everyone happy every time we watch him. It was a joy to watch him his entire career.

Can we give Blake the praise he deserves. Blake is seriously an outstanding 3rd leg runner. He covers the ground so well. He did the same in 2012 Olympics .

Usain Bolt is undoubtedly the all time best in sprinting. The sport already misses him a lot.

Oh shit, I feel horrible for that guy that fell. Thinking about all that training hard work and dedication going down the drain made me want to cry

37.04s, means that all 4 runners from Jamaica ran the 100m dash inside 10sec. Amazing!
  • @katzinova85
Someone must give a special mention to Michael Frater for always keeping that team in the hunt... The man always ran against the fastest guys on respective teams

there's a difference between running for gold medal and running to create a world record.

What a margin Bolt made....! This guy always gives me goose bumps. I used to set alarm to watch his live races. They were usually arranged in midnight or around 1am-2am(Indian Time). So much love for Bolt. ❤️
