Thumbs up is you see the glass as half EMPTY!
  • @VoidHugger
The glass is half empty if you emptied half of the water to get to that point, while the glass is half full if you filled it up to that point.
  • @cinderg1ock
Optimist- It's half full Pessimist- It's half empty Engineer- The glass is twice as big as it needs to be
  • @itsMinuteMaid
Optimist: The glass is half full Pessimist: The glass is half empty Realist: It's half of a glass of water
  • @Vakito227
If it's in the process of being filled, it's half full If it's in the process of being drunk, it's half empty
  • @AsapSCIENCE
Thumbs up if you see the glass as half FULL!
  • @eirozen1791
The glass is half empty if it is being drained of its liquid. The glass is half full if it is being filled up with liquid.
  • @devil-rj6lt
If you fill it up to half, it's half full. if you drink down to half, its half empty. [edit- this comment was from 3 years ago. oh my god, i was so mean in the replies. sorry for those who had to deal with that! anyways, thanks for the likes <3]

Interesting! In reference to the half empty/half full debate. I've always thought it depends on how it got to its present state. If the glass was poured in with liquid, then it's half full. If the contents were drunk/poured out, then I thought it was half empty. Love your videos!
  • @McGliga
in all honesty, specifically of the glass, for me it was always If it was empty and has been filled to a half, it is now half full If it was full and then you drank half of it, it is now half empty

I'm a mix of an optimist and a pessimist. I am always trying to look up and look at the positive things, but when I'm expecting things, I try to expect the lowest possible. You won't let yourself down, because you expected it, but it feels much more rewarding when you were expecting a 3 and getting a 7. I also try to stay away from alcohol, drugs and cigarettes. Hate the things, they smell and are bad as ever.
  • the optimist sees the glass half full, the pessimist sees the glass half empty, the accountant sees the glass in balance, the scientist sees the glass full of matter, the African drinks the glass, the grammar nazi says " you made a mistake, the African drinks the water from the glass" the scientist still sees the glass full... of air, the gamer says "can I have mountain dew instead of water? the cashier says "1 dollar" your wallet says I have no money, the movie director says "when is the end?" java says "you can't have any more characters", The twitter user is laughing. (I seriously wanna make this a challenge where you start with the optimist sees the glass half full, the pessimist sees the glass half empty and continue and see the crazy things people make)
  • @ediza.8485
Optimist: The glass is half full! Pessimist: The is half empty. Chemist: The glass is full, half water half air. Engineer: The glass is two times bigger than what is neccesery. Physicist: Wrong! You changed the outcome by measuring it. Politician: If you vote for me the glass will have slightly more water than you would have if you were to vote for the other politician. Oppurtunist: Lol while all of you were arguing I just drank the water. Prankster: HA! It was not water it was actually Hydrochloric Acid! *Opportunist dies Necrophiliac: ;)
  • @gilber78
I like to think of it like this: If the glass was empty, and someone fills it, it's half full. If the glass was full, and someone drank part of it, it's half empty Sorry to ruin your psychology
  • @heyitssea357
well, if the glass was just filled with that water from something it is getting filled, but if someone just half emptied that glass it is half empty it's really simple :)
  • @flvid
    Optimist : 50 % full Pesimist : 50 % empty Thanos : Glass is perfectly balanced
  • Dear pessimists and optimists, the glass is twice the size it needs to be. Sincerely, An Engineer
  • @kristina5108
Is it half full? Is it half empty? Same shit. Sincerely, the realist
  • @water1966
Why are people arguing about this.If it was just poured halfway full it's half full. If it was already full and you drink half of it,it's half empty.
