  • @rogersksn25
You just have to love this when old school whips a new hemi. And being a Ford makes it so much better
  • Ford Maverick for ever and ever. I'm glad this was one of the official Ford car releases in Brazil at 70 years! Nice and old times!

The body style of the Maverick gets cooler every time i see one.
  • It takes 700 horsepower and 10 computers to keep up with 40 year old technology.

And this is why built horsepower is better than bought horsepower

There is no substitute for old school muscle...
  • @kerbygator
Legend has it that the Hellcat driver wa bullied so hard on Facebook, he sold it and bought a Ford.

Cool sleeper!!! Love Mavericks!! I had a 1969 first build but sold in 71. I slapped a hippo 289 in it and it ran 12.8's in a 1/4 mile witch to me in the mid 90's was fast for what I had put in it...

My first car was a 1971 Maverick Grabber w/302 and the shifter on the floor. Paid $300.

700hp and it got its' ass kicked by a mild 351W. Gotta love it.
  • I remeber going on a family drive from Amarillo, Tx to Westland, MI for a family reunion in 1972 in a Maverick. I had to sit on the hump (middle seat in the back) every third stop (me, brother & sister). What a trip.

That cat got the hell beat out of it.
  • @jhendren0001
I absolutely love the ford maverick but the editing on the video made me feel as if I was watching street outlaws lol good job really no complaints

Why do cars that lose a race have to keep running hard so they can pull ahead after the race is actually over. Happens a lot.
  • @2anthony38
don't cry. I know the Mav driver. He was bating him for a run at the local track. The Mav is a sleeper. He never lost on the street to either a Hemi or a Chevy. And its a SBF.
  • That was fun to watch! A friend of mine had a green Maverick with a 302, two barrel, single exhaust that would smoke the rear tire for 100 feet! Funniest thing I ever saw!
