I... I just can't... I think Kiana is the character who I have emotionally connected the most in my life. Like her I too was a child that didn't have to worry about important stuff. A child that didn't care what the others think of him. I even remember getting in trouble because my teacher kept telling me that the sky needed to be painted blue but I was so stubborn saying I wanted to paint it pink. I didn't like study either, even though the teachers knew I was smart. I only started to get good notes after making a promise to my grandfather. It was in highschool when all went wrong. I started to suffer from an abusive cuantity of bullying that came from people I once thought were friends. What I was being told started to care to me and got me into thinking on ending my life. Which I only didn't do because I didn't wanted my mother to have to see such a scene. I don't know if that's a new low in self-esteem. I became way more timid and scared of people that I kept all to myself. After all, why bother other people with my problems? you're a man dude! Keep your life together. (just in case, I was not being serius there). Then collage came and slowly I started to meet people that seemed to like me. But I never shared a lot. I got shocked when after 4 or 5 years one of my best friends told me that they feel they don't know a lot about me. 4 or 5 years ago another good friend recomended me honkai because: Look, it has cute waifus and amazing animation for being a mobile game. And what I found is much more valuable. The story, the music, the visuals, the characters and the lovely protagonist that makes me want to face my ghosts just like she did. The whole cinematic is already sad and fulfilling but when I watched adult kiana cheering kid kiana I just broke. Thanks for everything. And thanks to you too if you took the time to read the little story of a complete stranger that just tried to express himself in all that the last cinematic and this song made him feel. I'm sorry if it's not super clear, english is not my first language. It says goodbye captain Ciel Kaslana. May all the beauty of this world always shine.

Mihoyo never fails to make banger emotional songs, I just wanted to point out that “Da capo” is a Italian musical term that means from “the beginning” which is such a detail because like what they said, its not the end yet. It’s just the beginning.

I love you guys. Thank you for being such a cherished part of my life. Who would’ve thought some silly, super-strong teenaged girl would become the hero in everyone’s hearts?

"When good old days are passing away..." This sentence hits me like a train. It reminds me when Kiana is still a brash headed girl who lived a carefree life. And to be honest, it also reminds me of my childhood. I don't have to worry about anything. I've encountered a fair share of troubles in my life as I grew up, and when I watched this, I cried really hard, because I realized how much I really miss my old days.

5 years went by so fast. Even so, it's alright to say "We raised that girl", right? I can't stop my tears from the moment Sirin said "You've done well", add this song and now I'm a bit of a mess... Good job and thank you Hoyo, for the wonderful story.

Such a fitting song for the finale of Part 1. I will miss Kiana alot. I'm glad I got to witness her development over the years into one of the best written protagonists of all time.

One of my friends is a player of Honkai Impact 3rd, and while I dropped it quite early, he still played on until... It has been 6 years now since he left this world due to the cancer. This song... reminded me of that. May he witness this... somewhere, somehow, for he still shines, however dimly, in my memory. And I hope everyone here, the beauties of this world, always shine.

My grandma lost last week. Two days after her funeral, my family lost our beloved member. He was an Alaska and have been with us for 8 years. This song will be on my mind for years to come. Not just it is so emotional, but it also so suitable for the situation I am dealing with. It is the mark of the end and the beginning. Just like our Kiana, to all the captains, may your path be blessed with the determined heart that can break through all the havoc in life.
