The Ironic and heartbreaking thing about this song is that three years later the man went through a divorce. The reason was rumored to be that she cheated on him (though honestly who knows, that's between him and her) still the man's a trooper. In true comedian style he's taken his pain and turned it into laughter and my hat is off to him.

I'm not even a country western fan all that much, but Rodney Carrington has an incredible voice and I'm not the only one saying he needs to put out a nice, serious collection of country. I'd buy his CD (if they still sell those) and play that SOB in my car every day.

my dad alwyas use to litsn to thsi when i was small i woudl alwyas hear him sing this now it’s 2022 and he killed himself on july 5th i miss him so much and i was passing threw his facebook page and i found this it brought so many memories ❤️1985 -2022
