The Star Alliance airplane did one of the smoothest landings on a very wet runway. Many of these clips you describe as worst landings was actually a very good and normal landing due to an emergency.

The fact that 1 car's tire can pop and cause a major pile up on an interstate where many many people die vs a plane missing an entire set of landing gear and nobody is even injured is insane. The amount of safety and consideration that goes into designing and flying these things is absurd but so welcomed

1:15 is one that I feel has been under appreciated since it occurred. That type on that runway with no flaps was an incredible display of airmanship that was likely to end very badly if someone else was in the cockpit that day. Those two performed incredible that day and the CRM was among the best we have ever seen.

The pilot flying the plane without nose gear did a seriously good job I think. It's impressive he kept it going so long before it touched down

I don't think these are fails, but rather pretty impressive landings given mechanical issues. Great videos though, keep up the good work!

That Ryan Air landing is scary. That tilty wing strike could result to a spin like the DHL one.

The skill of the pilots in all these landings is Phenomenal!

The 340 landing with no flap did it so smoothly. Those passengers were lucky.

Not sure these are really "fails" so much as not optimal (in the case of the F-15 looked like a successful arrested landing if anything). Like one of my brother's Air Force instructors said - "we've got a perfect safety record having never left one up in the air!"
