My sister got chickens last year and is going strong now. Even got some more chickens this past month and selling eggs to local restaurants. My tips from watching her chicken struggles: 1) Get a heater for your coup. Chickens get cold. 2) Apparently chickens can have random heart attacks and die. 3) She started with 4 roasters and only 2 made it through the winter. I feel like a heater would have changed that.

I'm always looking forward to Morgan's farm progress vids! It seems like a fun project to renovate your own farm/home.

Contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint about the company that did the siding. It's not about forgiveness. They need to fix the door and you need to be proactive so they don't do this to someone else who can't afford to be charged twice what was quoted. Once you file the complaint I'd bet $50 they;'ll get in touch with you ASAP to fix their work. I had to do this with someone when my house was being redone- it was the only way to get something from them because they were MIA until I did that. It was fixed once I filed. Also in the future ALWAYS check the Better Business Bureau for a rating and complaints filed against companies doing anything to your house. You can also file a complaint with the board they get their license from. Don't hesitate.
