Jump out of bed, make yourself a bowl of sugary cereal and sit in front of the tv to watch the best place for cartoons, Cartoon Network!

This is a compilation video I put together using footage of commercials and episodes from shows that played on Saturday mornings on Cartoon Network in the mid/late 2000’s. It is based off schedules from the year 2007 for Cartoon Network Saturday mornings. Certain shows (like The Powerpuff Girls ,Dexter’s Laboratory, and Johnny Bravo to name a few) can't be used for copyright reasons. These shows were substituted with other great cartoons and shows that played on Cartoon Network around the same time. Think of it as a retro remix or a bootleg Saturday morning broadcast.

This is my second Saturday Morning compilation video based on Cartoon Network (3rd if you count the Toonami one). I wanted to focus on the shows people mainly do remember by theme song or actual footage, especially since this is one of the memorable eras of Cartoon Network’s history, the “City Era”. There are definitely some good shows in this line-up, like Class of 3000 and The Grim Adventures of the KND crossover special. I hope you enjoy this video just as much as I did putting it together.

If you see Youtube ads (not commercials) on this video, it's because this video was copyright claimed by a variety of different companies, who chose to run ads on my video and take the profit. I have no say in that matter, and make no money from Youtube. I'd recommend installing an ad blocker like ublock if you're on a device where that's possible.

This video is explicitly NOT made for children. The intended audience for this video (and others like it) are adults who are nostalgic for Saturday morning cartoons that they grew up with, and a cursory glance through the comments of this video (and others like it) will show that most the people watching it are adults.

Out here crying at 3am because the nostalgia is just overwhelming. Being a kid during Cartoon Networks Golden age was such a privilege. Coming back home from school was everything in the mid 2000s because we knew we were gonna see all these awesome shows, and don’t even get me started on the Saturday Mornings! 😩

It's weird how the commercials paired with the episodes really make the nostalgia more authentic. Thank you so much for this

2007-2010 cartoon network just hits different. Memories of getting cable access only at relatives houses. Thank you for bringing me back.

I'm a teenager, but I still can't imagine how nostalgic this is to people who grew up with this network and it's shows. Thank you for archiving this, and giving a sample of what the experience was like.

That crossover was sick. CN did the best crossovers hands down. It was like the original Marvel Universe. Unlike Nick when they did a crossover it was always another character coming over to visit the character's world. While CN always intertwined and merged the shows into the same world.

OMG the commercials makes me wanna cry............. I miss these days

The people behind the CN City era really put a lot of love and care into its presentation. I can’t imagine what the budget for CN City was at the time.
  • What happened to the world ? I look back at this and just can’t believe we had to grow up and move on like we didn’t have the best childhood. It’s like ppl forgot who they were before the world went to hell. We had a good life back then. It’s still hard to believe it’s been this long. Even at 23 this breaks my heart so much it makes me cry

  • YouTube really is the closest thing we will get to a time machine😩😩 I love being a 2000s baby
  • The Billy and Mandy episode being the one with the Ed Edd n Eddy and Kids Next Door cameos is so perfect, it really adds to the nostalgia.

Damn, this was like a walk down memory lane. I grew up watching all these shows in the early-to mid 2000s. Wish I could go back. Also you can laugh if you want but I had a crush on Yumi when I was a kid lmao
