Man The stories these trees would have if they could talk.

The first time I stepped foot in The Redwoods, I spent two days off and on crying at how powerful they were. These amazing trees have provided so much oxygen and life to our earth. I cannot imagine what they'd say if they could talk. A very humbling experience.

I had a chance to spend 11 days with my Dad camping in Sequoia National forest, Big Sur and Death Valley, nearly breath taking, these Sequoia trees and the red woods are a treasure, Death Valley in May was full of life, a living desert as my Dad would say, RIP Pop

A few weeks ago I stood in front of a 400 years old oak, half of it was blown out from a lightning strike, but it still lives and it grows. It may sound funny, but I felt like standing before a majesty, like I had to bow, give a gift or something. I had goosebumps all over. These old, big trees have seen so much, survived so much...I feel humbled in front of them
  • I wish these trees could talk... they would have told us the most amazing stories of all times

We live just outside the entrance to Sequoia National Park. Sadly it’s burning because of an electrical storm and Forest mismanagement. The Yokut Indians used to burn this area regularly, but the Park and Forest Service stopped that 80-100 years ago. We’ve been under a Mandatory Evacuation order for over three weeks. I kept Sequoia and Kings Canyon trash free for 23 years.

I'm so happy that I live in the Pacific Northwest. Our rainforests are so amazing. 🌺

I am impressed by how that guy is singing to the giant tree. Beautiful.

I once came across this tree on the southern part island of Ilha Grande, Brazil. I've seen large redwood trees but this was something different, as if you could feel a special energy radiating from it when you were near it. Simply magical. We have to do everything in our power to protect these ecosystems of life.

I've been to a Redwoods park in California. I'll never forget how ghostly quite it was in there. No noise of birds chirping, or bugs buzzing around, no wind, almost no sound whatever. The grove is so well shaded few plants can grow which would offer food & shelter for animals.

Imagine what the Earth must have looked like in prehistoric times with these types of trees and even larger ones in large forests plantewide!! Explains a bit why the atmosphere was so rich in O2 as well as demonstrates just how vital CO2 is to a vibrant and thriving plant system.
  • Not sure what makes us feel so awestruck when seeing these trees. But I feel the same way as others. That you almost feel you need to bow to their greatness. To all they have been witnesses to in the world. And that they are a super being of this world. For me personally, I feel more connected to mother nature. To the planet. And I have a great admiration and love of trees. If I ever buy another home, I will pick one that is an older home, with old growth tree around it...
