May the stars carry your sadness away,
May the flowers fill your heart with beauty,
May hope forever wipe away your tears.
And, above all, may the silence make you strong !
.
.
The song : Ly-O-Lay Ale Loya (Circle Dance) conveys the stories, legends and plight of the Native Americans by combining sampled chants of the Navajo, Pueblo and Sioux tribes and Sami people yoik with synthesizer backings, all driven forth by a combination of traditional drumming and electronic dance-beats.
Ly-O-Lay Ale Loya (Circle Dance) is part of the album "Yeha-Noha" (Wishes of happiness and prosperity) released in 1994 by a musical project named "Sacred Spirit" .
On the first album, the song "Circle Dance" was presented as a native American chant, however the main vocals are an authentic Sami yoik ("Normo Jovnna" by Terje Tretnes),
For each album sold, donations are made to the Native American Rights Fund, a non-profit Native American organization devoted to restoring the legal rights of the native American people.

In another time I was Native American and so was the man I am with. I was named Fall Like Feather and Geoff was named Run Like Water. Ever since I was a little girl I have had thoughts of Native Americans and loved nature, riding and being kind and I am very strong. I have gotten through a lot of hard times. I used to love playing the recorder also when I was an infant and have recently received a flute as a gift have picked it up naturally so I guess I used to play the flute in the other life. I do not like how we have to live today but I have done my best to be a good person through it. May the Native American beliefs always be passed on to next generations to keep some purity in this world.
  • Proud to be Native American. Grateful for my ancestors, culture, traditions and every blessing given by our Creator. Dear reader, you matter! Be kind, not only to others, but to yourself as well. Stay strong and resilient. Don't give up.

I am Mexican and I don't know what this beautiful song says but for some reason makes me cry and makes me feel inner healing
  • I feel like Native Americans get forgotten about so often by everyone, especially the media, but their culture is so pure and beautiful that I can’t help but find it’s perhaps my favorite one to learn about. I pray that one day Native Americans will have the representation and respect that they deserve ❤️
