Sky News host Sharri Markson says the decision to raise Australia's terror threat should have been made “months ago”.

ASIO has announced it has raised the national terror threat from ‘possible’ to ‘probable’.

“Albanese tried to shift the blame for this, saying it was a global trend while insisting social cohesion in Australia is something he wants to protect,” Ms Markson said.

“Yet his own government has done the precise opposite, importing more hatred from the frontline of Gaza while fuelling violence with their anti-Israel rhetoric.

“Albanese needs to take a hard look at his own overarching strategy because today he claimed to care about the safety of Australians.

“But if that were the case - if he was genuinely worried about our safety, then how could he possibly bring to our safe country people who could be affiliated with Hamas, who could pose a threat to our national security.”

Labour always destroys Australia. Albanese himself was a Palestinian activist.

  • @ThatGuy-ze5kk
he became leader of a society on it's knees, spent his first year dividing them down the middle with a race debate, then did nothing as people chanted hatred in the streets, then pumped in a million people who don't share our country's values.... now he thinks he has the respect and authority to simply smile and tell us to be calm!!! this man needs to go now, and history will shame him to the grave!!

He is so busy being an activist instead of being a politician.

He is gaslighting the Australians. It is his fault. I hope he is watching the UK and taking notes.
  • I'm 60. I came to Australia when I was 3 with my parents and she is my home and my love. I have seen many immigrants come to Australia, Asians, Indians, Vietnamese, European, African from all over the globe. They all embraced our country, made it their home and contributed to make this country great. The refugee who made his way here and struggled to make a home, created a business and made his mark then as he received his citizenship cried with joy, is my brother. These people deserve to be here and they are as Australian as all of us. But, there is a current insurgence of an ideology that doesn't fit with western culture. Some of these people are good people and are genuine but many are not. Their religious ideology makes no room for others. Their ideology wants to dominate and when they say that their religion is a religion of peace they mean there will be peace once all have submitted to their ideology. Beware of them, do not let them grow in number.

The raised threat level is not to protect Australians, it's to protect AGAINST Australians, fighting back...
