Jimmy Page often spoke of his "guitar orchestra" in Zeppelin.. Alice in Chains & the Seattle Symphony pay literal tribute to the epic "Kashmir"...Duvall really shines here

Layne and Duval are both phenomenal in their own ways but AIC is and always will be an outlet for Jerry Cantrell's musical genius.

If anyone out there wonders why Duvall is in this top end band. Then listen to him with your eyes shut. This is mind blowing. Don't take my word for it. Look at the guys on stage. They are blown away and lost in Zeppellin land as well.

My favourite cover ever. I've never ever seen a singer kill it in a cover as good as DuVall covers Plant. Symphony is great, as well as the rest of AIC. FUCKING EPIC.

I know some people have a problem with William and have to make constant comparisons to Layne, however I love the reformed Alice in Chains. William isn't Layne; Layne died. William brings his own energy to the band and I can accept the change that has occurred with the band and I embrace it because all four men are tremendous musicians and have put on the best concerts I have ever been to. Fantastic cover of "Kashmir".

Layne was in my woodshop class in 9th grade. I never guessed he would be a huge rockstar. His name was Layne Elmer.
