I love the more frequent posts. Thanks Donyboy!

I do the same thing with my grinders now I need to order some of those brackets , great idea

The rule is: we don’t have the time NOT to be organized. So any time spent organizing your workflow is an investment that pays back with dividends!

I would daisy the chain the cords for each individual grinder super easy to undo and they don’t get tangled
  • That's a good way to hang them. What I did was have a 2x4 in an area and bolted a big a angle iron on the top and the grinder hooks on behind the guard and the cords i loop them with a wooden dowel at an angle which already has a knob on it.

That is a very good idea thank you so much for sharing
  • I have four Grinders hanging and plugged in ready at arms distance from three of my benches, no looking and swapping of leads, ready 24/7

That looks like it will be making it to my house soon I often wondered if anyone ordered anything from them and how it turned out. Now i know it is real..lol Thanks Dony.

I think you have a thing for grinders which is fine. A master wood worker by the name of norm abram had a thing for routers. He built a beautiful library rolling ladder. He mentioned using the ladder to display his routers. Both of you are great teachers. Thanks for the videos
  • Thread a piece of flap bar with 1/4-20 holes spaced far enough apart for the grinders to sit side-by-side on edge. Thread hex bolts into the holes. Make sure the hex bolts are long enough to go through the space between the guard or attachment if not using guards. This is a very large opening on the grinders and thus extremely easy to pull a grinder from. The grinders sit on edge on the bolts and the hex head keeps them from ever vibrating off. If you have corded grinders put a Velcro cord wrap on each grinders cord. Mount the length of flat bar wherever you would like to store the grinders. You can get way more grinders in a given space and you can easily see what attachment is on each one. Cost is one piece of 1/4 x 1 flat bar and the hex bolts. I guess you should include the cost of the 1/4-20 tap if you don’t have a tap and die set. I guarantee you’ll throw that Chinese holder out if you follow my suggestion.
  • Thanks for making me think. I have a tool box sitting on a stand. I can put wood or metal on end of stand to hold the hangers and mount the grinders

thanks for all the great advise on all of your videos. keep up the great videos.

An awesome video on how to keep a shop cleaner and grinders safely hanging in various areas of a shop or garage. 👍👍👍👍 The only sad thing is that these hangers are not made in the United States or Canada. It seems almost nothing is made by Americans or Canadians anymore.

I welded short pieces of pipe under the edge of my welding table. Stick the handle in the pipe, loop the cord. Easy and cheap.
