Stanton grounding into a double play on the hardest ball the Yankees ever hit in the statcast era is a perfect metaphor for where the franchise is right now.

stanton: hits the ball 122mph mlb: how about a double play
  • 41 year old Nelson Cruz hitting a ball 118 is one of the most impressive athletic achievements ever.

hitting the ball 122 mph straight into a double play is the equivalent of a perfect-perfect groundout in MLB the show
  • @Jazzyprodz
It’s crazy how both Ohtani and Stanton have the hardest hit ball for two different teams
  • The fact that 6 or so if these balls were outs (all of them because of "right place right time" by the fielder) shows how unfair of a game baseball is

I think that Mark Trumbo one is an error at 3:37. There is exactly 0% chance that ball was traveling 118 MPH. It looked like he capped it for a seeing-eye single. What was statcast smoking?

This is just a normal practice where the coach claims he his hitting them light to us

Feels like half of these are in either ny or Minnesota

matt chapman's homer was fair? or did he hit it so hard that it bounced back and landed in a foul area of seats?
