I’m still waiting on money from these people. Unpaid for months
  • @chriswitry6976
I disagree, a YouTubers worst nightmare is having to do an apology video but not knowing how to play the ukulele
  • @gustavom.4885
I don't wanna alarm you Mr. Zilla but the Slenderman is right behind you.
  • @TheNaldiin
As an accountant, 'Goodwill' generally means 'amount we overpaid'.
  • @DontBeAKumquat
The shirt, suspenders and slacks in the background like the bat cave is a nice touch for the void.
  • @theowlyone
takes a long drag on a cigarette MCNs... taps ashes Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time
  • @James-gm9cs
The Void is officially the main channel now
  • Next time, you should have the mannequin ever-so-subtly change position in-between takes

Correction: Goodwill is not the value of reputation or brand or anything like that. It's the difference between what you paid for an asset and what it is worth. If my company buys your shitty $10k car for $100k, the $90k is Goodwill in our balance sheet. And we write that down over time. The $90k doesn't really exist, it's just a pretend number we use to pretend we can get $100k value from your $10k car by being more awesome than you. It's rarely true, hence the write offs over time.

Literally had to go 3 months without payment and nearly finically went under. Can’t emphasis the stress they put me under when I have people who rely on me for income
  • @Bonktothefuture
SlenderZilla silently observing in the background is honestly the aesthetic you should just keep, I want him to just be there in every Void video. Perhaps wearing funny hats.
  • @4RILDIGITAL
It's really startling seeing how an apparently reputable company can jeopardize the livelihoods of creators like this. It's essential that everyone understands the risks associated with MCNs and that transparent, timely payment should be a non-negotiable aspect for creators.
  • @MannyBrum
These companies worried about their public perception do every damn thing except the one thing that will improve their public perception.
  • @ectothermic
After the end of Machinima most people should've been aware that MCNs are bad. You can just hire a manager instead, it's not free but neither is working with an MCN.

And Coffee didn't even include some of the most damning statements in that filing, like these: "The Company’s cash resources as of December 31, 2023, are not sufficient to fund its planned business operations over the next 12 months..." and "The Company’s future operations are dependent upon its ability to generate positive cash flows from operations and raise additional financing. For the year ended December 31, 2023, the Company had negative cash flows from operations..." and maybe most importantly, from the auditors: "... a material uncertainty exists that casts significant doubt on the Entity's ability to continue as a going concern..." which is auditor-speak for, this company is teetering on the edge of failure. There are also some troubling things in Note 13 re: long term debt, and I'll just add here that "On March 7, 2024, the Company completed a reduction in force affecting approximately 45 employees, or 25% of the workforce." Finally, possibly unrelated, but I found this interesting: "The Company has one customer which ... accounts for approximately ... 50.50% ... of revenue for the year ended December 31, 2023."
  • @Patterrz
There's almost no reason at all for a YouTuber to join an MCN now, they do nothing for the creator and take a large portion of their income, it's so sad to see people still falling into them
  • @OfficialKraze
So glad I discovered this channel. Really reminds me of Coffeezilla
  • @EIEANIMATIONS
i non-exclusively licensed animated content to them a few years ago and last year they tried to claim the original versions on my channel 🤣
  • @Shadowkid229
I am so glad to see slenderzilla, the void has a very trusted henchman protecting coffee.
  • @JakeRayTM
Omg I was not prepared for the horror of the faceless mannequin in the background.
