I do think that you should consider using a white cane at night if you have that much trouble even if you may not need it for full Mobility all the time it does help in difficult situations my symbol cane has helped me quite a bit since I started using it I also have a full Mobility cane with a red ball tip that one doesn't get very much use but I will use it in difficult situations such as at night if I'm going to be out and about for a very long time up and around in the city at night I will go full Mobility. I will also use it in rough terrains such as grassy Fields or in a park where my symbol cane won't help me very much.
