  • Thank you found this and studying this, so to get ideas so I can draw my wife...she passed away last year only in her mid-50`s....she was such a lovely woman...thank you.....so much.
  • With all this digital painting (and now AI art), it's so refreshing and satisfying to watch people paint with actual paint. Amazing work!

Best teaching and transparency of the total process that I've seen on YouTube, and I've seen a lot.
  • The transition from earthy tones to the model popping is just amazing. I’m learning so much. I love your work, thank you.
  • @MrPierref4
Patience. The mother of all masterpieces. Big thanks.
  • Thank you so much. I have learned so much. Showing the photo you are painting makes the world of difference. Most artists don't show the subject. Your interpretation is brilliant. Love it and I appreciate you.

BEST video I've seen for oil painting tutorials!
  • It never seems to surprise me just how talented humans can be but sometimes you just get blown away watching them do their passion. I couldn't have done this in months let alone is then 3 hour's. You're talent is next level. Thanks for allowing me to watch and the world.
  • Without a great great practice for at least 10yrs for 5 to 8 hours of serious and honest practice I think this magical sense of proportion and colour taste cannot be produced as Mr.RENSO achieved. So amaging!

Usually it’s the photograph that is the more beautiful of the two for comparison and can’t be reproduced in a way where the art created from it surpasses its beauty, but definitely not in this case! This has got to be one of the most beautiful portraits painted that I have ever seen and only done in two hours?! 😳I could have spent weeks on something like this and still not nailed it the way you did in such a β€˜short’ amount of time!! This is very inspiring and makes me want to pick up doing my oils again when I just got into watercolors! 😩
  • @Ukadria
Genius, selfless! Thank you for all your support, patience and time!!!
  • You are a great teacher sir. You break down your paintings into so many sections to understand them better. Thanks.
  • @melissafeng7588
Thank you very much for this tutorial! I followed it and did my first ever portrait painting and I’m falling in love with it!
  • @MickiB_Is4916

10 minutes and the likeness is almost there, we love you Renso.. Thank you for making this video with detailed explanation... πŸ‘
  • All I can say is: OMG. This blows my mind. The likeness is perfect, it almost seems impossible to me. Only a God given gift can do this. A thousand times, BRAVO.
  • @evaclose2039
