Just got my 2 generators last week and got them running today. I never would have thought to do an extended tank, great video!
  • Great video, clearly shows how straight forward and easy it is to set up this system.

Thanks, if I didn’t watch your video at 1am in the morning by accident, I never would have vented the gas tank! I just didn’t think to do that and would have been having an anxiety attack wondering what I did wrong haha, same kit as yours. Yes, this is an-expensive kit but this kit uses high quality fittings allowing you to run just one generator without worrying about the unused line. The fittings are the quick disconnect type which makes it easy to put everything back away after use. I’ll spend extra and use non-ethanol gas in my Hondas. I might just spring for a propane kit at some point in the future for those times I just need the generator for a short time and don’t want to mess with getting fresh gasoline. Plus propane is so clean compared to gasoline fuel. Just my 2cents. Thanks for the videos.

I've been running a single Honda EU2200i with the 6 gallon system and it has been flawless. It is powerful enough to run my 11K BTU a/c on my camper. Now that I have a 13K BTU a/c, I'll need to run the Hondas in tandem. I'll only need the single generator in winter. Thanks for the video. Oh, and your grass looks amazing!

I love how neat and tidy this setup is. I’m not a fan of others that cobble together bits and pieces to make a system similar. Yes it may work like that but it looks horrible. What you’ve done may not be the cheapest but damn it looks awesome. Great job 😁
  • Great video! You are the go to source for generator information! This video solved the dilemma which I had regarding use of a pair of small generators and being handicapped by the native fuel tank's meager capacity. As I picked up Honda EU2200I and EU2200IC this afternoon, the only remaining question which I had was whether I needed to also a use a bonding plug when using the generator pair with my travel trailer. Thanks in advance.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Did a little research and found this kit can only be used on generators that have fuel pumps. Will not work on gravity fed units. If you have a gravity fed generator, you'll need a kit like the Pinellas Extended run kit that has a fuel pump built into it. Merry Christmas Gavin and all your viewers!

I have two eu2200i Honda Generators. I have no problem with refueling them every 8 hours which allows them to cool down.

For the long term, you may want to use the blue Teflon tape that's resistant to gas and stuff. You can look up specs. But the white can disintegrate when in contact to gas and petroleum products

Great video as always. Your the greatest source of information on generators that I've found. I assume this would also work on the ecoflow gas generators? The hardest part is probably figuring out which size cap to buy for it. Most kits I see are geared for the Hondas.
