That is the late model. The early model of P50 doesn't even have reverse gear. It has a handle at the back of it and you have to pull it back from the handle manually from the outside.

The electric version would be significantly quieter and less vibrations, so perhaps a better option. With bigger road wheels the car would sit higher up, which would be a bonus, a webasto type of opening sunroof would help with the headroom. Looks a lot of fun and with improvement could be very practical in the modern sustainable age that we are going to be entering!
