Old Escondido Traffic Lights & Newly Installed Neon Pedestrian Signal (E Grand Ave & S Date St)

The 3M left turn light on the mast arm is definitely doing what it's supposed to do because you can't see the colors at all. Throughout the video the light stayed red so I really don't know what kind of bulbs are in there. All the traffic lights at this intersection are pretty old and I can tell because of how they are designed, the brand of the signals, the type of lights in them, and the very old pedestrian buttons.
Another interesting fact is that the pedestrian signal has a new neon and replaced the LED pedestrian light that used to be there. If there's no upgrades, that neon will probably be there for decades knowing how long they last now.

Here's my video of some other old traffic lights facing another direction.    • Old LFE Traffic Lights & ICC Neon Ped...

Here's a link of the LED pedestrian light that used to be there. And if you go back a few more years, you will see an older neon that was there too. www.google.com/maps/@33.1257393,-117.0699746,3a,25…

  • I can't believe that neon pedestrian lights are still in production in your area! In many other places, they stopped making neons and only LEDs instead.
  • In a couple of years, like in 2028, if i ever took a vacation to san deigo, would you still be interested in trains and would you railfan with me?
  • Nice video, more Mexican music in the background ✊😁🇲🇽
