nah this make perfect sense the only way Vought survived this long is by limiting how much she knew
  • @CheerfuEntropy
i suspect she didn't want to be involved, and took steps to be left alone till now
  • @haja.
"makes vought look stupid" dude no way, vought? stupid? on my television show specifically made to showcase that vought is stupid?
  • @theruoc147
My only theory is that wanted her isolated because they were scared she’d topple their whole empire and take over.
  • Did you not notice her worming her way into a position of power She is the worst person to give power because dumb people with power dosnt last long but smart people woth it are absolutely horrific
  • @martinxy1291
I mean given she doesn't like attention and gets a lobotomy just to feel normal, I see it as Vought just ignoring her hoping she doesnt try something and thankfully she just couldnt be bothered so they just let her be
  • @Kitsunej0nes
If you don’t remember her and a-train have a past. I’m pretty sure he blacklisted her like how the deep tried to do to starlight. Plus to you it’s dumb to not have the smartest person but to Vought they’re a company, how do you market someone with super intelligence? But I do agree with you to an extent but at the end of the day it’s a show don’t think too deep into it.

Often strong introduced later has ripple effect of "why didn't they do this earlier"

The smartest people usually do the dumbest things yet the most clever of which actually changes the world -marie curie

    1. Shes smarter than literally everyone which makes her a threat 2. Peefectly reasonable. Its commentary on gow black women are always overlooked and underestimated.
  • @bigoof4453
She didn’t like vought and I believe she essentially left to just live her life, homelander brought her back into the fold. Hence why she lobotomizes herself when she gets stressed out. I think she’s going to flip on the 7 at some point when it can work in her favor.
  • It's like the stuff school doesn't teach you. Can't risk "the smartest person alive" figuring out they are being used by some corrupt people...
  • @zeronime284
She might gone rogue if they rely on her too much. And she is the one who do the planning for Homelander so she didn't do nothing, though she probably betray him.
  • @red_hornet56
That's because she was made while writing script of season 4

to be fair I understand where you come from, but I do imagine that vought is extremely afraid of giving supes an inch and getting absolutely destroyed. much like they knew they couldn't do anything to homelander, so they got psychologists to make him depend on them, I imagine that if they got sister sage to work there she'd take control of the company in no time
  • It’s kinda cuz Vought IS stupid? Like, everything they’ve done so far focuses on money over everything else, and given how bigoted they can get, it’s likely they didn’t even consider putting Sister Sage in those projects until Homelander found out about her and recruited her finally.
  • They couldn't control her. Every manipulation would be seen from miles. Vought don't like things which they couldn't control - even Homelander was conditioned to be controlable.
  • You're making lots of specious assumptions, the biggest of which is that she would have gone along with Vought's plans and would have done any of the things you mentioned. It seemed really clear to me that she didn't want anything to do with Vought, Homelander, or the 7. She was happy just reading her books in solitude. She's only involved now because she came to Homelander's attention, and either: 1) she knows that he will kill her if she refuses because he won't tolerate a potential threat / rival, or 2) she realizes this is her best opportunity to overthrow Vought from within, or (alternatively) to survive what she seems coming on the horizon.
