FGO Servant Spotlight: Barghest (Tam Lin Gawain) Analysis, Guide and Tips

You neglected to mention that Barg would generally perform better on her own than in a team environment. Being able to get 4k healing per turn and very likely preventing the enemy from having any buffs other than boxed ones is a huge boon and not something you can do nearly as easily with other servants around

Given her lore getting romantically involved with her is basically a death sentence. But as they say: I'm here for a good time, not a long time. If I gotta die then death by snu snu it is! Got 1 copy of her on Morgan's banner, hope to get a few more on Oberon's. Definitely grailing her to 100 when I get a few more grails to spare.

AH YES, THE REAL 5 STAR ON THIS BANNER AND THE GREATEST SERVANT TO EVER SERVANT.

Considering that she's only outlasted by Melusine among the high ranked Fae Knights in the story and in the story she only loses herself out of despair and horror of reality around her in the end, it's given that her durability is insane. What makes her unique is that her tankiness is hard to get by without using an NP on her because her durability is nothing to scoff at. - Lack of hard defense like Guts (which OG Gawain has), Evade or Invincibility isn't too good for a tank but her ability to heal on every non-NP hit is strong and with CCs, she can last for a very long time. With how long her second skill lasts, this is a godsent for her in solo battles such as Grail Fronts where she's basically like Super Orion for how stupidly hard she can be to put down if she's built properly even at a class disadvantage. - Buff Removal + Defense Down on her S2's other effect on an enemy with a removable buff makes up for her low attacking stats, though that's only if the enemy tries to buff themselves. Keep in mind that she has a weaker version of Gawain's S1 but her NP gives her an Buster Buff based on Overcharge, meaning that her damage scaling can rival if not barely surpass OG Gawain (her idol). - Ok NP Gain but not that high as one would want on top of not having an instant NP Battery is kind of scary for a Buster Deck but her S3 has a good steady +15% NP charge at the end of your turn for 3 turns which kind of makes up for it. To put it into perspective, by T3 after casting it, she gained a passive +30% NP Battery, which is pretty good. S3 also gives her a 3 hit Damage Cut which could be better but at least it helps her last longer. - Her Noble Phantasm, on top of the Buster Buff, increases her max HP for a few turns and decreases the CD of all skills by one turn. If her skill CDs were ANY lower than what they were at max rank, this would be stupidly good...albeit a triple Buster deck makes it hard to use at times. Barghest is a solid A Tier Servant even if most of that comes from solo'ing and I'd say she's a solid 'wants to be a S(+) Tier' waifu in her own terms. She just has a very hard time because of who she really is, what she's destined to become yet wishes to defy that destiny, and unlike OG Gawain, she can actually COOK for what it's worth and the only flaw there is that she makes too much good food.

I love how her kit is designed. I imagine her biting off chunks of the enemy in her attacks. And the defense down she causes is similar to the legend of how a barghest would inflict wounds that never heal.

I remember years back when lbs trailer first came. Back then people obsessed with melusine( they don't know her name yet). But I was the one pointing out a girl behind her with big badoonkers. Point is, I like barghest first before it was cool

She's legit one of the most fun servants to use, she's good as an anchor or a starter unit that just sticks to the field and provides some buff for your allies and removes buffs to enemies, all the while healing like crazy

She's actually excellent for Black Grail. Her second skill, even at level one, can out heal the 500 damage per turn done by Black Grail and her third skill can raise her survival chance by decreasing the damage taken from enemies. Don't let her low attack stat fool you, she punches well above her weight class.

I want to be both types of men. I'm into the muscles, and I want to be carried by a strong woman. I didn't get her this time, but still love muscle mommy.

I only got her at NP1, but I hope to get more of her some day. I love Barghest. When we get the rest of LB6, the rest of you will see why. <3 Edit: No mention of grail fronts? I hear Barghest is superb at those.

Here’s the thing barghest likes to fight alone and against strong enemies, when she is alone in a challenge quest and the enemy is spamming buffs on themselves it a full course meal for her, debuffing her enemy, healing herself, defense down on enemy, I was fighting Spartacus in Nerofest and he just spammed multiple health regents a turn, she negated them, healed herself and by the 3rd consecutive turn of stacking defense down her brave chain was doing looney toons damage,
