My wife and I just went with a 83" A90J for the family room and the 75" X95K for the bedroom. Both were on sale and both replacing 65" X950H's. The Black Friday sales made this possible plus I got my TVs cheaper via the military exchange which is tax free for retirees like myself. Takes forever to arrive but I will be happy when I get them in.
  • I’ve been watching a bunch of your videos this weekend, great channel! I just picked up my G2 and a sound bar so won’t be shopping for a Tv for a couple years, but love the content!

For OLEDs in monitor use: - Set the taskbar to hide and only pop up when cursored over - Set your desktop background as pure black or a gentle animation that lets every non-black pixel change over time - For extended browsing sessions, use it in full-screen mode, or experiment with custom solutions to auto-hide its UI - Dark mode everything Comment below with more tips 🙂

I just ordered a 42" C2 to use strictly for gaming on my PC and consoles. I think I should be fine as I got use to using OLEDs for the last several years. You just have to be mindful that's all.
  • I appreciate the attention to detail and depth you have in this video. Thank you for the hard work you put into these.
  • I dont understand why people say OLED is dim.. its literally brighter then any LED TV ive ever owned. Brighter and more vivid
  • @cornpop8570
As my first OLED tv I went with the 77inch Sony OLED A80k.
  • @Mugiwara-ya08
Thank you so much. Really informative. This is the kind of guide buyers really need. The examples / use case you specified really helps in making the decision on which one to pick.

I do a good mixture of gaming and watching movies/shows. Just ordered an LG C2 55in for $1167 plus tax. This will be my first OLED tv so I can't wait for it to arrive. Thank you for the very informative video!
  • Your comment on #1 Static TV was hugely important to me. My mother watches a lot of news and business tv so this is especially applicable to her. I've kind of known about this for years but it was nice to hear you reinforce the point. I'm not sure if future plasmonic oled will eliminate this for good but that is a ways away. Not sure if my mother will be around to enjoy it. I'll have to figure out what you suggest instead of OLED for these business news consumers.. Off I go to another of your videos...
  • This was extremely informative. Thanks for the help. I’m gonna get a 77” LG G2 for the family room and if the glare and reflections are too bad I’ll just return it and get an LCD tv.
  • Thanks for bringing up the sports viewers use...I have not seen hardly any reviewers highlighting performance of the OLEDs or LCDs with sports watchers.
  • @rayraman3243
Most comprehensive guide to demystify the OLED buying decision. Thank you for making this video!
  • Fomo, your video was exactly what I needed to make a decision. I have been obsessing over reviews for weeks and I’ve finally decided on the 65” Samsung S95B. I want the Sony A95K (but not badly enough to pay an extra $1,200.) Heck, even the 55” A95K is $700 more than the 65” Samsung S95b! That’s crazy to me. I would love the sound that the A95K can produce, but for that kind of extra cash saved I will make due with my BOSE Atmos 500 home theater. Many say the Samsung S95b native speakers are really good, so maybe it will surprise me.

What about subtitles, in The Netherlands we have this with foreign tv shows or movies on TV. Is that static enough for burn in or because it is on screen only for a second a time there is no added risk for burn in?
  • @ripleyp2002
Outstanding review This should be required watching before anybody starts shopping or watching other reviews.
  • @Jose1maneZ
Hands down the best review!! Just the info I needed! Minimum tech numbers that are hard to understand how actually affect the viewing experience. Instead real world info.. Kudos! Thanks!!👍👍👌
  • @graciousvarun
I am confused between LG B2 77 inch Vs LG C2 65 inch .. it will be great if you can provide your view on that ... Thanks
  • I got the LG C2. Like it a lot. Is there anyway to reduce the edge enhancement? Seems unrealistic.
