I realised. Ahsoka only broke one side of Vader's mask. Obi Wan broke the other one. Meaning they are both only a half of his life, but Luke removed the whole mask, he was his whole life ๐ข

I give Lucas so much props for being able to add in Ahsoka into the Star Wars universe and how smoothly she was placed into the storyline. Absolutely gold in story telling and execution๐๐๐

It's crazy to me that ahsoka was never a part of the tragedy of darth vader until the clone wars. The way lucas was able to put ahsoka into Vader's story and add so much more depth to anakin and vader after the story had already been told is amazing to me.

Anakin's turn really is heartbreaking on many levels.

Vader taunted her by showing her Anakin under his mask. He wanted her to see that her former master was gone and there's no trace of anakin left in him. He's a monster.

The fact that he taught her, and she was able to get a clean offensive blow, for him to simply call out her name? He was definitely conflicted...

The one thing I always noticed is that Ahsoka takes the left side of his mask off and Obi wan takes the right side of his mask off and they both got a slight glimpse of anakin. However only Luke was able to fully take the mask off and reveal anakin on the inside
