SonicModell AR-Wing - Maiden Flight

Published 2021-05-24
Finally got around to building my first wing; SonicModell AR-Wing. About a year or more back I was chatting with Benz Note and he helped me to choose the components and walked through the Arduplane setup. This past weekend I finally completed the build and the wing took flight. Obviously from the footage you can see I still need to perform some tuning on the
Flight Controller, but she flew and landed in one piece. Still trying to decide if I like the wing over a traditional airframe. The wing definitely requires more speed which I am not accustomed to. Will keep flying.

Benz, thanks for all the help.

Yeay glad finally see it touching the sky and surprisingly flying with already smooth, well done really really well done 👍, and looking the current amps were so low, perfect! I'll bet we will see the longrange flight on any soon from this wing 😊
