[Tutorial] Automatic Honey Block Farm! (Minecraft 1.21 Ready)

First built on Hermitcraft, this is a tutorial for my fully Automatic Honey Block Farm! This farm uses only a few glass bottles per farm which means no more gathering hundreds of sand blocks to get honey! The farm will automatically craft Honey Bottles into Honey Blocks, then returns the empty bottles to be reused. Once built, it requires no player input. It will simply produce Honey Blocks forever! Enjoy!

By the way, you can fill the item filters so that this uses even fewer glass bottles and honey bottles. For example, you can use 44 dirt blocks and 1 glass bottle for the empty bottle filter. You can use 1 honey bottle and 15 filler items for the honey bottle filter. I used a few extra bottles in case someone built this on a high latency server. Also, check the description for the full list of materials!

I'm dyslexic, so I appreciate how Cub builds out both sides so you get to see the same process twice and mirrored

Please show Joel this. He just spent a solid chunk of his life digging and smelting 20k sand 😂

Do I need to build this right now? No. Will I build this in the future? Probably not. Will I watch and enjoy another cubfan video? Yes.

The best part of the Hermits using the crafter is that Cub is back to making tutorials!
  • @toopided
Love the slow pace tutorial for people who arent good at stuff like these in minecraft. Easy to replicate and follow!
  • @redstonedad6434
Material lists in tutorial descriptions are always helpful Cub
  • Oh man, this is going to be one of those must do builds of every new world. Fantastic!

Could you make an "Ultimate Firework Guide"?
  • @Cheesius
That was a really clear and easy to understand tutorial. Thanks Cub!

Hi future me, aren't you glad you watched this like 6 months ago? Welcome back!! Also thanks cub for this video we needed evenutally!! lol

Oh, I just recently designed something similar! It's a lot more bulky and doesn't refill the dispensers 100% of the time. It has 4 nests in a row and I assumed they would fill at the same speed so I just shoot 4 bottles up and put one in each dispenser. They start to get out of sync but if you put like half a stack of bottles in each dispenser and check on it from time to time, it's fine. I'm still proud of it as it works and I came up with it fully on my own except for some basic things like the crafter and item filters. Haven't watched the video yet, but I'm excited to see how you tackled some of the bigger problems I had. Edit: Ohhh using a comparator in subtract mode for triggering the dispenser is so smart! I made some cursed thing involving slabs, redstone torches and repeaters. Mine was tileable, which this doesn't seem to be, so I guess that's a plus?

Saved to my tutorial playlist. I'll definitely be building this after the update, my current farm, despite being from a tutorial where I saw it working, mostly just spits out empty bottles. The wax side works fine. But I need the honey blocks to hold my most used 'geezers' in place in the foyer of my trading mansion. It's become such a slow process it's just annoying me at this point lol.

Babe, wake up! A new CubFan tutorial just dropped!

Whenever other hermits ask for glass bottles for Bee farms I wish they would go and talk to Cub.
  • YES! The tutorial I have been waiting for. Whoot! Thanks Cub. Your tutorials have been amazing! I have been building farms just to learn redstone in my solo world. Adds another chapter to things Cub taught me

Always worth mentioning, any honey farm is more efficient in the nether because bees in hell don't sleep.

Thanks Cub.  Just made this farm and got my first 2 honey blocks, and bottles were recycled back into the system!  Tutorial was concise and easy to follow.  I like how the design is mirrored.   Only (non) issue was that I put hives that were filled with honey already, so I had to manually bottle em to start the farm.  The bee's got angry and there was a visual glitch, but went back to the hives and continued working, so no problem.  I'm playing on the hermitcraft 10 world seed with all the mods you guys are using....auto crafters are so fun.  Thanks again for the tutorial!

Very impressive! Great farm Cub. Having to get a ton of glass bottles is such a pain.
  • @KneeHigh160
Honestly, I love the tutorials you do. I personally would love to see more!
