  • @YouRegolo
    1. master the basics and focus on high repetitions before moving to the next level 2. always focus on maintaining a perfect form 3. train a strong grip 4. negatives are as important as the positives, if not more 5. the most important thing is consistency in setting up new goals and challenge yourself

"you have to set yourself a goal" my goal: look like big guy in video

Negatives are actually what helped me do my first pull-up. I would just try to stay as high as I could, and at one point I didn’t move. Then one fateful day while trying to keep myself as high as possible I found myself getting pulled upwards. It was awesome and fueled me to go farther. Still beginner level with calisthenics, but I hope I can get stronger! Thanks everyone!

Damn Chris. You made your own music, shaped your own body, created your own brands, established your own name and framchise. the epitome of self-made success 💪🏼
  • My foot fell asleep while watching this on the toilet, after it wakes up I'm gonna try this

It's 1:56 am EST, I told myself I would stop this video and agree to 50 diamond pushups no matter what. I stopped SEVERAL TIMES. at least 10 breaks. I started watching this video around 1:00am and I finish my 50 @ 1:56, thank you for making it feel like you are on the journey with us as a companion. I have the video paused at 6:26, time to finish what I started, thank you for this.

"If that was the first time you've ever done 50 in a row, now we gotta do 60 tomorrow. " Excuse me? Are you human?
  • Chris Heria: "Perfect form is very important" Cross-fit athletes: "I've never heard of that"
  • @MrMagnuminium
I just did 10 push ups, properly. It was hard. I have never worked out, I have always had a job that kept me ripped. Now I am an inspector, my body is starting to hurt when I do just one thing I used to do easily many times .. . Thank you, I will be paying attention to you going forward.
  • When you think about this advice, it's all foundations and the basics but SO many people skip this important advice. Thank you for sharing! I'm trying to get into calisthenics to improve my overall mobility and strength and then when I feel confident in calisthenics, I will then begin to intertwine weight lifting in my routines to become extra badass! 👏 my final goal is the human flag but I understand this could possibly take years to achieve so wish me luck guys!
  • @thelambswife
I genuinely appreciate you never wearing a shirt.
  • @Liam-uh3pr
Chris: if you could do 100 push-ups in a row you’re pretty solid in your push up game Me: *Clicks off video

Hi Chris. I'm really glad I found your channel. I'm 40 now. Started doing street workout in a group two years ago. Lost weight, build up muscles and finally did something with myself. I've never been in better shape. On my 40th birthday I manager to do 40 push-ups in a row and 40 pull-ups in smaller sets. My goal now is to do a muscle-up. I don't just want to do it. I want perfect form. Thanks for talking about muscle-up negatives. Negatives really helped a lot in the beginning, but I somehow didn't think of applying them to reaching my goal. Now I'm thinking of going to the gym one more time a week to work just on two things. Perfect form and muscle-up negatives. Will be back here when I get that first one.
