Happy Halloween! This video was a bit of fun for the season. I spent 48 hours 700 ft underground. It was something I was looking forward to for a long time, and it was a blast.

If you haven't already, I hope you'll check out my other videos and subscribe! They are all a bit more calm an include building restorations, abandoned mine explorations, refining metals, and more!

Make sure to tune back in next week, because I have a VERY exciting video on the way.

I love how this video turned out to be a documentation of Brent's descent into madness.
  • Creating a modern 3D map of the entire mine would be amazing. That way you’d be able to connect the dots of the different levels much easier.

As someone who works alone at night, the silence and dark can definitely get to you sometimes. But I couldn't even imagine this level.

Brent you are a maniac. I actually yelled at the screen not to walk up those ladders…. Love your content.

I have always been curious about how he doesn't get lost while exploring the mines. The possibility of getting lost in a mine like that is terrifying.

You should stock small caches of stable food, water, medical, lighting, batteries, rope, radios, etc throughout areas you explore as you are able to. That way if you were ever in a pickle you could rely on those caches for some prolonged peace of mind and safety.
  • I’m late to the party with this video but I am so happy to see a new angle of Brent’s personality! Great to see you challenging your content and breaking out of your shell in new ways, it’s inspiring man. Thank you for the video!

man, you're awesome. To think we live in a time where you can have a personal experience with someone who's living by themselves in an abandoned town makes me very happy to be alive.
  • I wonder what those miners would think if they could look 100 years into the future and see Brent glamping down there.

"48 hours in a mine" The Evil Genius and brilliance of this video is the length of it, perfectly ends at 48 minutes and 48 seconds.

This was a different side of Brent i haven't seen before. Not only was it ballsy to spend two days in an abandoned mine by himself but it was also cool to see some humor from him too. I like it 👍😎

I kept expecting to to end with "This camera was the only thing that was recovered, Brent was never seen again."

Thanks I loved your quirky adventure! I was a 43 year career underground miner up in Timmins Canada, and got stuck underground once for 20 hours as the man hoist broke down on the dayshift (about 300 miners underground at the time), so we had to come to surface on top of one of the 2 skips. The bottom levels of the mine are always hoisted first in an emergency, so being at one of the upper working levels, the 1600' level I was one of the last few miners to be hoisted to surface, I was starving as I never brought lunch to work, just a thermos of tea, anyways when I hit surface my supervisor had the nerve to ask me if I was coming-out for the dayshift...I took the day off, besides I had all that overtime pay from being 20 hours underground!

If any of the old miners would see you there, with the blender and the robe, on a floaty thing in the pool, they'd think you're completley insane.
  • @nasaman23
You've got balls to be down there 48 hrs with nobody around. I'd be scared as hell to be underground without another person near me!
  • Making a bar 700ft underground in an abandoned mine is the most Rock & Stone idea I've ever seen
  • @ShadowHat
I really want to see the look on a old miner ghosts face as they see this mad lad have a literal spa vacation in the mine.
  • @noskatehate
Props to you for still being so positive after learning you lost your coffee pot.

I am a sucker for the 24/48 hour challenges where someone films themselves legitimately spending the time somewhere. Be it a cave, mine, in an abandoned factory etcetera. So I find myself watching this video every now and then.. But damn, that shrimp, steak and mash looks so good.

In 1962 Michel Siffe (geologist) lived in a cave with no day light for two months in the French Alps. He said it was a existence beyond time. He fell into a sleep wake cycle of roughly 24 hours.
