Damar Hamlin playing 17 snaps last year was the equivalent to letting a handicapped kid score a TD before a high school football game. Making the CPOY into a pure injury award is dumb and will result in nothing more than a sentimental feel good award which is of no interest to 90% of football fans. I think the media has handled the Rodgers absence even more horribly than the Jets. I know it's after the draft and free agency with months until the season, but a lack of stories doesn't make a non-story a story.
