They didn’t just save one life, but 16! Brings tears of joys.

I can't imagine how poor mama felt carrying, birthing and taking care of all those puppies. 😵💫
-
So glad you kept one pup, the mom needed that.

A family friend had a pittie with a liter of 14 or 15. It was insane. Only two of them weren't blue nose, which was what she'd been going for, coloration-wise. Those two cuties just weren't selling, so she asked my mom if we could "foster" one of them. We told her 3 weeks later that we were adopting that little nugget. She was such a good girl. One of my best friends for 10 years. Always up for a snuggle. Couldn't pass on the chance to smother you with kisses. Was the BEST with children - I don't think I've seen a dog so patient in my life.... I miss her every day.

"She was a huge help in exercising her puppies." = She was trying to ESCAPE from the madness! lolz 😂🤣
-
So glad you kept her. She is something very special indeed. I didn't know a dog could birth that many puppies.

People like this are giving so much more to the world than they realize. Can't even think about the outcome for mama and her many offspring without this loving couple. This sweet girl and her adorable babies deserve a good life. ❤ Thank You!
-
I've never heard of a dog having that many puppies. That's just bonkers. Good work btw. My wife and I also foster and adopt cats. We have five keepers at the moment LOL.

My husband and I adopted a dog that had been in a puppy mill...no one noticed she was pregnant. .....she had 10 beautiful babies. .....we couldn't give up any of them...the eleven lived out wonderful lives of 15 plus years.....our last is pictured here.....he is 17 and still SMILING. We have a farm so they all had full lives and all the space and LOVE and treats they could stand. They were PURE muts. Ranged from 10 pounds to 25 pounds ...same litter. Silky fur to curly. And SMILED MOST EVERY DAY. WE WERE BLESSED. BLESS THESE PEOPLE WITH WONDERFUL PUPS.

Can’t imagine all those puppies being born on the street! Thank god for those fosters!
-
Wow!!!!! I can't believe she had so many. She's a champ 🏆 Bless you for your love and care to her. ❤
-
Fabulous you were able to find families for all those babies! You’re stellar people and I hope mama has been spayed and allowed to get the love she so richly deserves.
-
All those babies, a litter of gorgeousness! She hid those well. 😀

When I was a kid our dog had nine puppies… And the thing that really shocked me was how much food mama dog ate. It takes so much energy… So many calories to raise that many babies with your own body producing milk. I can’t even imagine 16 puppies!
-
Thank you for saving this beautiful creature and her babies.
-
Wow that's awesome to see how loving and caring she was with all of them. Thank you both for loving and adopting her.
-
16 lives saved!! 16 households that will be filled with love and laughter for years to come 🥰❤️ what a beautiful story
-
16 PUPPIES?!!!!! AND SHE WANTED TO PLAY OUTSIDE DURING LABOUR!!! Wow she's incredible.
-
What a lovely couple. I'm sure your kindness is registered in the divine universe.

Im going through almost the same thing right now. Adopted a dog a day away from being put down..and 5 weeks later...8 pups. One that has a cleft pallett we are keeping the rest go to a no kill shelter to be placed. I can honestly say..other than having my own kids this was the hardest thing I've ever done. Sad and happy..we saved 9 lives as well.
