Shout-out to the guy in chat genuinely thinking that LUKE STREET FIGHTER 6 is F TIER

It's crazy how viable so many of these characters feel for general play. I hope the S2 adjustments make the best characters need a little more risk and the worst characters a bit more fun to play.

Fully agree with the take on Honda. That character is so stupidly designed. I've peaked at 1900 MR and I still feel like he's one of the few characters where I can lose if I'm having a bad day or not 110% focused. You have to work so hard to counter him consistently meanwhile the Honda is just doing really simple stuff (yes even at higher MR his tools can be abused in smarter ways)

I like this list a lot - I appreciated that you focused a lot on the characters’ strengths throughout the list. A lot of tier list videos I’ve seen tend to really only talk about strengths with higher tier characters and really only discuss weaknesses of lower tier characters

I enjoy your tier lists because it's actually just fun to talk about the characters sometimes. Tier lists give a good excuse to go in depth

I think the issue with Ken is that he was almost fully fleshed out before Evo while every other character was still being figured out up until at least LCQ for the most part. This allowed other characters to run while Ken is basically jogging briskly.

DSP would disagree. Zang is low tier and everyone else is S rank

I watched the whole discussion. This is a good, level-headed review of character strengths and weaknesses. There is always a 'hidden' strength of characters like grapplers, imo, and that is the psychological warfare aspect of this. Listening to dannypham talk about this really solidified the idea: gief is there to get in your head and win. His objective character tools may not have him at advantage, but the way he can dismantle you mentally makes up for those weaknesses imo (except for lariat not hitting behind, come on now capcom).
