Forcing a Talented Singer to Rap

I am literally in tears. I worked with Brahm and he used to sing in our work truck and on jobs and we were all floored telling him to pursue it. He is legit one of the sweetest dudes I've ever met. I feel like this one didn’t do him justice. You can hear the potential this singer has. He has such a acoustic sounding voice. Want to follow this artist in his journey.

Definitely finish this. He needs more time to get comfortable you can tell he was very reserved (not in a bad way it was just his first time so duh) it may take a few sessions. He has it in him, he just needs work on getting it out.

The one critique I have is you could tell the creative process was held back, by the “newness” of your house, the video recording, studio session etc. That video where he was in his car, he was comfortably singing and rapper. You can hear it in his inflections, demeanor, poise, and sound. Give him this track and let him work at home for a week or so, guaranteed you get the song he can really do. Takes time to deliver great songs in studio sessions, if you’ve only had the comfort of your own privacy to create.

You really should start a 2nd channel for artist development fam. Spend a month with each artist just working with them and pushing them and helping them progress

To think this man someone I’ve looked up to for the last what 4 or 5 years someone I’ve been watching since I think like 8th grade. Listening to his beats trying to find my style working on music. I’m telling you man. One day I will work with this man. Mark my words! Kyle is definitely an idol of mine and has been for a long time way before we moved out here when he only had a couple thousand subs. Man absolutely love this man.

This collab is not over, I can see a series or a progression of videos where you work more on the song and no matter how long it takes, I’m here for it! Also it’d be dope if you had a place for the instrumentals cuz I’d love to hop on this one and others you’ve done!

Has so much potential but definitely not ready to be released. Feel like you should just send him the beat and let him freely record in his own comfortable environment, then you can re work it all when he sends it back. Was good for him to get that studio experience with you tho he was probably super nervous about it all.

PLEASE do a second video. He needs to get accommodated and let the anxiety go with the process. It’s natural to have trepidation for the world to hear your first take at opening up for a new song. He has A LOT of talent and you can feel he has much more to give!

The song is like a raw concept I feel, not even a demo at this point, but the guy deserves more time. Maybe let him rap the bars he already had from the other video
