Honestly triggered that Brad’s whole opinion on this band is based off Hail to the King. Summing their whole discography up as just them being “metallica ripoffs” is dumb.

Listen, imo I think its fine to dislike this band, people are entitled to their own opinions, but finding the tiniest shred of, "this band is a blatant ripoff of literally any band on earth" is quite farfetched. Every piece of music is inspired by someone or something, so i dont understand why the band deserves so much disrespect.

I'd really love to see you give more A7X albums a chance. Definitely do NOT do Hail to the King early, if at all. City of Evil is one of my favorites of all-time, and it's a good reaction pick along with Waking the Fallen, Nightmare, and their self-titled. I don't know how much you'll like them, but I think you'll at least see that they've had original ideas throughout their whole career.

One thing that really upset me was everytime that Brad claimed everything they've done was a ripoff after saying only one song was a rip off

I love watching brad but most of the people who hate a7x are people that only know the rip off songs and nothing else. So they assuming all their music is like that and perpetuate this hate to other people. And it just keeps spreading because people don’t even bother to listen to their other music. It’s just people spreading hate without taking the time to think for themselves

Brad thinks A7X is unoriginal because his entire opinion on them is based of hail to the king. Their earlier albums were actually very unique for the metal scene but less masturbatory then Life is but a Dream.

Idk if it was just me but I totally loved this album and listened to it twice all the way through already. I'm not that big of a A7X fan but damn this is good! 9/10 way better than expected

The entire Hail to the King album was a tribute to 80s metal, and each song was done in the style of one of their favorite bands. So yes they sounded like Metallica on one song because that was exactly the point. It's like a cover album but with all original songs, which is genius and the exact opposite of ripping someone off. Their other albums are some of the most original stuff I've ever heard.
